Again to Mr Maccready, I say Moore could or could not have been a homosexual in the role: He could simply have been asexual. Whether he was or not has very very little to do with the rest of the film, it's a good one: Moore is quite good in it, the woman playing the PM is also good, in fact the only one not is Mason, he's just twiddling his thumbs in this one, probably not realizing just how good the movie is. The director Mc Laughlin was NOT very good but somehow the film rose above that.

He didn't "hate" the role until the end of You Only Live Twice, which is when he quit, because it meant half the year spent on one film. If he hated it so much why did he make his own Bond film?
