The new version looks OK but Arcade/SNES for the win. The worst thing I've noticed about this game is there is no Super Shredder (or at least he doesn't change into Super Shredder in the final boss stage) and the the music and sound samples on some parts suck, again in particular during Shredder's last boss fight.

I don't understand why people are so hard on this remake. I would've liked the original for the nostalgia factor more, but as the video shows, the remake has the exact same gameplay, only the graphics are different.

i loved the origianl very much and would rent it all the time and i own it in fact, i also have this xbl version and i would have to agree with msot, it was great to see updated graphics and storyline added, but it would have been perfect if they had added an optino to switch it to the original or new, like they did with contra and the original TMNT

I think it's really stupid when u have a game system designed with four controler ports and make a turtle game that's one or two player. It is four turtles back then it was exceptable but imean come on it is 2010 there is no excuse

I didn't mind the 3d graphics but they changed all the sounds and the music, if they kept that the same I think lots of people would have been fine with the game

like anytime I was fighting a boss in the new remake I was wishing I was listening to the original games epic boss musics

If you want my opinion well here is it.

I'm a big fan of these turtles for a long time enjoying all the good shit while avoiding the really bad ones.

I got to say Ubisoft dropped the ball on this remake.

Why do I say that because they should have given us either the original arcade game or The Hyperstone Heist on Sega Genesis.

I know some of you are wondering what about SNES port well Nintendo won't allow Ubisoft to port it on PS3 and X360.

I love the original, but it seems that I'm in the minority when it comes to looking forward to the remake. I love the graphic upgrade as well as the sound track. The original is priceless, but I'm not always looking for a direct port of an arcade classic, sometimes, like this time, I look forward to something fresh.

The XBLA looks nice, but it just doesn't have that same comical feel to it. I think the low quality funky sound effects and stuff are what helped make the game so great. I hope there is an option to use all original music and sound effects.

I think both versions look pretty good, but in terms of music and style i like the original,and in voice acting and graphical terms,I like the xbla remake's better
