  • to me this just proves what we could do to bring the missing episodes back to life. If you blend really high quality and believable composites with really high quality animations when the daleks are on their own you could come up with something really special. Too bad the BBC cant be bothered with this. At least we have the animations i suppose.

  • Love it!

  • Very nicely intergrated.

  • Excellent, better than previous reconstructions I have seen of this story. Like the transition from original to CGI. What software are you using?

  • This was made using Cinema 4D. I've recently switched to Maya 2008 so subsequent videos will be made using that. Watch this space!

  • AHA! Somehow,it has just appeared.I must have done something somewhere.

Sorry about the last comment.Seems to be working fine now,as I have just seen it all.

Very good video. Thanks for the posting of it!

    Absolutely brilliant!

  • Phew. Glad you enjoyed it. :-)

  • Strange,it said at the top of the screen that this video is no longer available. What a shame!

  • Does it? It works for me okay.

  • Wow!

  • very cool, but the power of the daleks clips of yours look much higher quality, and the models there look far better than here

  • You're right. The actual Dalek models are the same (pretty much) but the sets were a bit of a rush job and less detailed. Also I made a bit of a cock-up on the first clip (of the two here) and rendered it in much poorer quality than usual. Didn't even notice until I'd posted it. :(

  • if you ever take a break from rendering more clips, please give this one a bit of a touch up!

i guess once you've nailed the set etc, you could use that to recreate quite a few dalek scenes from Masterplan. i was always surprised you havent done more Power of the Daleks clips tbh!

keep em coming, great stuff :)

  • Monkeytennis, what an odd name. Fabulous work.

  • As always your work is flawless, inspirational & of the highest standard. The seamless transition from stock film to CGI is so well done, that it isnt noticed.

Keep up the excellent work bringing these classic episodes back to life. :)

  • You even pan the camera! Astonishing!

  • That is fantastic work. You would be brilliant at working with Big Finish Productions and make the Dalek Empire Audio, video! Good Work!!! 5 *'s

  • i like the way you transitioned the original video clip in to the animated daleks clip, great stuff keep it up
