Man, I remember riding the New Haven Line into 125th Street in Harlem in '73 and being told by the transit cops not to go down there even if that was the only place to get Rudy Ray Moore albums. I did. Man, it was wild down there for a white kid, but they sure fixed me up with 7 Rudy Ray Moore albums. You coulda bought 78 pounds of chronic in one block alone, let alone anything else.
It is the most futuristic city in the world, also with the largest population. Where else can you find like a russian neighbor hood right next to a chinese one, near a black neighborhood, and an italian.
