  • Oh, and highlight where you want the sound in the video to end, use the "cut" feature. You will essentially have two separate video files to work with. Now you can remove sound from parts of your video instead of having to mute the entire thing. So now you can fade out the sound while it's in the middle of your video. With making it sound smooth, you just have to find around he spot where the song is supposed to fade in....its time consuming, but thats the way I know how to do it lol

  • How do you transition so smoothly from the song in the video into having it as the actual soundtrack to the video? Teach me your ways sir.

  • Actually when I did that, I was using Windows Movie Maker lol You can cut down the track to make it begin at any point in the song. Just click on the music file from the beginning and drag it to the right. What I did was I just started to fade out the sound in the video file while I was fading in the music. You don't have to get the timing down perfectly, just give the fading in's and out's enough room to make a smooth (sounding) transition. Hope that helps.
