ya the ATRAC system is awesome, i prefer it over the locker. mine is still sitting on stock street tires so the ATRAC usually works better for me than the locker.

Thats the reasoning for the ATRAC hack. You get both. The TRD FJ has this.

Anyone find a situation where the ATRAC is a better solution than the locker? I haven't found a situation where the ATRAC gives good results.

I find the Atrac works good in of camber situations. With both of them working together the FJ feels onstopable.

Thank you, I was not aware of the Alex mod until now, and I plan to do it myself. I have had similar issues myself where I was switching back and forth between the two unknowing which was best for the situation at hand.

Do you have ATRAC and lockers on your FJ? And what was used when you had to back up?

Yes I have the rear diff locker and Atrack.I also have the(Alex mod).I had both engaged for the attack.I used alot of braking and 4low backing down.
