andre agassi is and always will be one of my favourite players. nadal perhaps a bit more. too bad neither of them were major grand slam winners(agassi lost to sampras, nadal lost to federer)
@jzrnsk lolll i dont know if u had math at school but nadal has a 14-7 record against federer, including a 6-2 in slam finals. if it wasnt for nadal federer would have had 22 slams by now. on top of that federer is 29 and has 16 slams while nadal is only 24 but has already 8 slams. nadal on average wins 2 slams per yr (with fed gone in a few yrs that will only increase) so if u do some match that will mean nadal will have atleast 18 slams when he is 29.
i love rafa but you know his hardcourt record is getting ridiculous. he may still get injured (though i know he is managing his schedule better) and he has yet to win a hard court title this year.
@jzrnsk if he gets injured than thats his destiny, he cant change that. he did win a hardcourt title this yr (qatar), i love how they call that an exhibtion and it doesnt count, while the best players played there (from fed to soderling to novak they were all there) and rafa won in a beaut final against soderling. there are a lot of ppl riding federers dick cus he has more slam now but trust me when rafa closes in they will all switch. seen same happen before when they went from sampras to fed.
don't you feel federer's grand slam consistency a bit better? 25 straight quarterfinals is impressive...and fed will win more (though I hate to say it). Luckily nadal is constantly improving, unlike roger, so he can still improve his hard court record. and exhibition tournaments i feel don't count because the players play for the show, not actually matches.
@jzrnsk i have to say u are the most fed loving nadal fan i ever seen lolll. feds so called consistency is better cus when he achieved the bulk of that feat it was between 2004 and 2007. and that was exactly the weakest era in tennis, just look at the rivals fed had then; he had to beat guys like philipousis, baghdatis, gonzalez, hewitt, a 34 yr old agassi etc to win the slams. can u even imagine one of those guys reaching a slam final in this era?? exactly.
@jzrnsk and if u think qatar is a show tournament u should watch some of the matches, the final for ex is here on utube and it was farrrr away from a show. unless nadal gets injured again fed will not win more. esp wimb, aus open, and rg are all nadals. us open fed still got a chance cus its the fastest surface but even there the comp is so heavy from guys like murray, delpo, soderling, berdych that he will not win them like he did when he was playing with the bums.
@cj397 there are many things that are certain in this world; life, death, taxes, the sun, air etc etc. sports at times belongs in that list too. for example when rafa got injured in rg and didnt play wim either; everyone knew fed was gonna win both and it happened. outside of tennis i can name u 1000 of other exampls but not enough space here. i didnt say fed has NO chance at all, esp at aussie and us open he got great chances but rg and wimb are for rafa for atleast the next 6 yrs.
When Nadal is fully fit, he is the more dangerous player of the two. He can simply overpower opponents with his ground strokes. Federer must dread playing Nadal. He only has a 33% record against him, and a worrying 25% in slam finals.
It's like comparing a Porsche with a slightly breakdown-prone Ferrari. The Ferrari will spend more time in the garage, but if it's out on the road it'll beat the Porsche.
@nanananalalala Listen to what i said you retard. The matter here is you're saying things that are fact as if you know the future. just watch tennis and enjoy what happens, instead of hating on players for no reason.
@cj397 oh dont worry about me or my hope, cus i dont do hope. i look at the players and then give my prediction. and in the last 3 yrs i have been wrong only 2 times (once the aussie win of djok, and other time the fed win in london end of of yr champ this yr).
and u def wont enjoy the endresult cus a certain crybaby wont end up on top. but atleast u now calmed down a bit.
@nanananalalala actually i just cant wait to see the tennis and hopefully the 2 best players ever to play the game will play eachother many more times before fed retires.
@cj397 nice way of grouping them together, but in this world its all about whos nr 1. yeh i hope they will play eachother more times too but it wont get as good as the aussie and wimb final. esp the aussie was just insane.
im not hating, if u wanna see hating u should check what fed fans say about fed and or nadal. compared to that im a softie.
agassi is my favorite player

@nanananalalala who says australian open fed doesn't have a chance, or wimbledon?
you dont know this for fact. stop talking with such certainty when you cant be CERTAIN of anything.
