I love this mat, replaced my Razer with it. It's the same thing as teh $60 mousepad from Razer but it works a little better. Funny stuff.

This does not have fabric, so it wont rip.

Dont know who would use the control side because anyone with a brain would know that a rugged surface would wear out your mouse feet a lot faster

Got mine for like 4 or 5 dollars because my girlfriend used to work there :D

Anyways, very solid mouse pad for the price. The aluminum surface makes for a pretty noisy mousepad though.
