The best educational show ever. This got me loving History. My history teacher was showing this in my class to help us learn more about The Revolutionary War, I broke down and cried because i felt like a kid again :")
I gotta thank Ms.Wilson for reminding me about this epic ass show <2
Moses Aounree (i tihnk that how u spell it) James Sarah Phillips the 1st 2 were both slave and were save by Benjamin Franklin James house burned down and his neighbor saved him he also works for Benjamin Franklin Sarah also knows him i hope thats enough info your guys
i remember in 3rd grade we would go sit on the big rug in the back of the room and watch episodes of these for history...i didnt understad it much but still loved it :)
We're doing a social studies reasearch project in school and I am doing this guy named John Paul jones and he once said when he had to surrender to a British captan, "I have not yet begun to fight" oh and by the way I -3 this song! We watch it in school, it helps me so much!
I like this show to but try got rid of it idk y cuz I had to agree with this on guy they had more education shows back then were we learned and now it's shows that are dumb
I wished I watched this when I came on cuz I kinda find it weird that I find James to be cute even though he's a year younger than me. I even practice my singing with this song sometimes and I love the tune and the lyrics
I used to love this show and I still do...but having taken AP world history and US history...I see that this show is just filled to the brim with American nationalism and propoganda XDDD
when i was little, the only show i would watch over this was Sagwa, and even times i would miss Sagwa for this...i luv it so much, and whenever i have any kind of US Revolution-whether it be just a class or a project, or whatever-i try and rewatch this...it was always so good, and i miss it... ok, that settles it, IM REWATCHING THIS SHOW AGAIN!!
most accurate way to see history i think.(and im majoring in it) kids typically only get one very cut and extreamly dry version of history. this shows more than that, historical figures were like you and me and had hearts there were lines of good and bad that blurred very easily and the guys that won wrote it all down. this shows how it all played out it wasnt as easy as the books tell it. there was a heart to this show, a catchy song to help and excellent writing. bring it to DVD now PBS
I never understtod this show as a kid... But I remember loving this song back then! I still do. But now, I see what I missed when I was a kid. This was honestly such a great show for education. Plus, the theme song is next to none when it comes to how it makes me feel...

@coolme123ification Yeah he is, if he were real i'd totally have a crush on him xD(sqeals) imagine when he's older?!. Me too they should make another sequel, and they should include James and Sarah married :p
My history teacher played this for my class when we were learning about the American Revolution. Then, just for fun she played the theme song and I song along :)
