I think the Timber Mod was interfering with the workers chopping wood down because you did get 3 wood automatically from the workers but then the rest of the wood would just fall to the ground.

Hey Tbone get some glowstone and place it around the kingdom walls! Itd look balling and provide light so critters stop coming into your kingdom! Also look into the armor stand mod! Thatd look cool with stands of armor and all that... and why not tear down the legit village for some rescorces?
