What makes this super impressive is the fact that she is totally unprepared. She was asked to sing this suddenly, she doesn't even know the lyrics, thats why she needs to sing while looking at the lyrics sheet.

And she was sick too. She was coughing in the middle of the song.

Despite all this, she sang it superbly, its not even her own song, and no practise either.

what makes taeyeon different from most kpop female vocalists? power,control and feelings. these things are usually lacking to most female idols, some have high range, can belt it out but less in expressing feelings.. some have good voices suited for a main vocal but inconsistent most of the time.. i can go all day comparing this and that but nah probably most of you don't even understand it lol

@devsdevski I disagree with everything you said. I'm not anti-Taeng nor an I anti-SNSD. I like both actually but I'm totally unbiased in my judgment. Taeng is a good singer, but that's it. When she sings covers, Taeyeon tends to just sing as the track did. In all of the covers that she's sang, she's rarely made one completely her own. Great singers throw their own spin on it, make the cover better than the original or at least different from the original.
