BYU fan here... pretty good video. Yeah - It hurt last year, but I knew we were feeling the same as when George scored in ot, or Harleen's final catch in the end zone. So the battles have been EPIC. I hope for a good game this weekend... GO COUGARS. As for the rest of your PAC 12 schedule... GO UTES!!! And go tell your PAC 12 Commissioner that your #1 rival needs to be part of your expansion :) Hoping this epic rivalry stays intense and fun.

However, BYU has had enough wins over the U when Utah arguably played the better game. The difference is, however, I can't think of one game were the game was decided by a terrible call that fans from BYU had to grudgingly admit was indeed game deciding.

@Sturmgeschuetz19, One call doesn't necessarily decide a game.......and there were many bad calls for both teams in that game.......

Regardless of the terrible call in the 4th qtr., there were 5 minutes and 42 seconds left in the game......(which is still enough time for the Utes to have a come-from-behind win anyway).......

And the Utes defense still made the plays and stops in the 4th qtr. when it mattered the most.....

I also remember byu having "lucky" plays vs. Utah too. (06',07',09').

I wouldn't say Utah sucked. That may be the "venting" he was talking about. They definitely weren't the better team as any reasonable Ute fan in his right mind would admit, but they were a solid team.

"A whole lot of luck" is well said and to be honest it wouldn't be that satisfying of a win considering it was handed on a golden platter from the officials.

@Sturmgeschuetz19, Actually, Utah was the better team, but their offense struggled towards the end of last season because Jordan Wynn was playing with a hurt shoulder at the end of the year.......

Not a bad summary. BYU is not a college though, it's a university. Look about 50 rankings up from the u of u in the US News national university rankings and you will find BYU. You guys eked out a miraculous ending. You got the win. Here is to a another great game in less than a month.

Yep, pretty much describes the University of Utah football program. Utah sucked that season, BYU was expected to get killed by them in the Holy War. But with a whole lot of luck Utah squeaked one by. Enjoy it, for it will only last a few more weeks.

@tiannam117 Utah sucked last year? The Utes finished 10-3 last year......they clearly don't suck. Utah still has a young team just like byu does. The Utes had 52 freshman and only 18 seniors on their roster last season......10-3 is pretty good for a team who had majority of their roster being freshman. No, they weren't "expected" to kill byu.......and the Utes offense struggled towards the end of the year because Jordan Wynn was playing with a hurt shoulder (which messed up the offense)......

@tiannam117, And if Utah sucked last year, then what does that say about byu? Exactly. bywho finished 7-6 last year and they lost to USU! Seriously?! Looks to me like byu is the one that sucks. Utah's football program is lucky? One lucky win doesn't define a team's program. Btw, how about byu's "lucky" plays vs. Utah in 06', 07', and 09'?! Those are considered to be lucky/miracle/fluke plays as well.......

And regardless of that, Utah leads the overall record vs. byu, 54-34-4! So whatever....
