AN IDEAL STRONGEST FORM OF DEMOCRACY INCLUDED (See Subchapter 3.1.2.1, Chapter 3, of Part One.).
The Burmese military government is supported by & dependent upon the foreign corporate presence in Burma. Business is good in Burma for foreign oil companies for instance. Why should these companies want to rock the boat for democracy when they're raking in ca$h under a brutal dictatorship?
I think it's a good thing the military government has isolated itself in its weird new capital built in the middle of the jungle. Perehaps the rest of the country can band together & isolate it further.
Machine guns on unarmed citizens????? Ne win and all his fellows generals, soldiers are burning in hell now! Than Shwe, and some more are on guest lists to hell....
As a burmese, I would like to thank you all people around the world to support us for justice and freedom . Thank you all..really, we will keep on fighting this junta. and may peace and democracy prevail
I think its time for UNSC to take action against my motherland!!! I dont' want violence to take place but then do you thik the junta would change their mind???
Regime change, if history teaches anything, needs a gun. Ghandi wasn't a pacifist. The road of non-force will repeat the defeat of the unfree. Morality, sadly is the fall back position of the brute not the agent of change.

Whats going on in Burma is horrifying; what is more troubling is that the international community is doing nothing about it.
