  • The Burmese military government is supported by & dependent upon the foreign corporate presence in Burma. Business is good in Burma for foreign oil companies for instance. Why should these companies want to rock the boat for democracy when they're raking in ca$h under a brutal dictatorship?

    I think it's a good thing the military government has isolated itself in its weird new capital built in the middle of the jungle. Perehaps the rest of the country can band together & isolate it further.
