@captainkaratekid2 Suzuki Sensei is the one saying that Otsuka Hironori 1 changed the first stance of chinto and that all the others just copied that, therewith implying that he wasn't a good enough teacher to tell them what the stance should be, which I find insulting

don't take me wrong as a karateka he is up there amongst the best of his age but I don't think he is the most open minded person when it comes to the other Wado factions

Hi rickysteinberg. your comment suggests that you are practicing and certainly much more talented than master Otsuka . Is that the case ? Wadoryu style is not spectacular but very efficient, and unless you have practice it, it is difficult to judge. I think it is better to have a minimum respect to something you do not quite understand.
