  • are you stupid? axolotls can't be with other fishes, because he will eat's them xDD

  • @minuotojas No, I am not stupid, but thank you for asking. Obviously, based on the video, axolotls can be with fish (not "other fishes," since axolotls are not fish, they are amphibians.)

  • that is the best tank ive ever seen .. :D nice music too ... i have goldfishes my favorite .. :) but nice tank !! better than mine .. :\

  • Nice tank, it must have cost a bit. I think i have a 50 litre tank. Have you had any problems with the fish and the axolotls? If not what fish would you recommend, (non gill munching ones)

  • What fish can u keep wit them. I hve white n black widows.

  • is air pump necessary for axolotl?

  • i just bought 15 axolotl eggs and dont have a tank to keep them in, anyone want them for free?

  • @TheChgz :O this was 2 months ago, whats happened to them now?

  • @TheChgz wait, why did you buy them without a tank? Just asking.

  • @FuzzKitty141 i was promiced one from a family member but they desided to keep it and get some fish

  • @TheChgz Oh no! Im sorry!

  • @FuzzKitty141 lol its r8, one of my friends from college bought them off me

  • @TheChgz Okay thats good.

  • well you are doing something wrong either those axolotls are in tropical water which is bad, or those Danios are in cold water which is also bad. so which is it?

  • @missman0009 I have been keeping fish for over 20 years. In that time, I have had more fish die from heaters malfunctioning and boiling the fish than from not using a heater. I have not used heaters at all for the last ten years or so, in a single one of my tanks. My fish grow normally, spawn, and are healthy. Those particular danios are 4" long and have spawned MANY times. I have had Discus spawn in room temp water as well, growing and healthy. There are exceptions to EVERY "rule."

  • @kyryah welp good for you I wish my poor Oscar could be part of that exception but he's not. He was exposed to room temp water for over two months and now he's having all sorts of health issues. So where does that leave us, maybe go with what works for ya.

  • @kyryah plus danios are cool water. this guys just following the petsmart and petco rules.

  • @missman0009 Are you a Miss or a Man or one seriously confused dude? My guess is the fish are their for food so it doesn't really matter if its cold or not the're gonna get eaten!

  • aww very cute!

  • Is that a shrimp of some sort on top of the log?

  • @FPSMYLIFE Yes. I have ghost shrimp and wild type neocaridinas in there. Both breed pretty profusely.

  • hey beautiful axols and tank, could you tell me what you feed the, and also the length and width of your tank.

  • @MXZCharlie that looks like a 29 gallon tank, if it is its 30x12x18

  • Cute!!

  • What a beautiful set up, nice one =]

  • what kind of plants are those?

    great tank btw

  • The axolotl's are now immensly threatended, and are on the verge of extinction. They are beautiful, and now rare creatures that need and deserve our help! We are the people who have caused the threat and now we need to resolve it!

In order to do this, we must STOP polluting and START giving money to charities which help save the axolotl's.

    SAVE THE AXOLOTL SALAMANDERS!

  • do the dianos really not eet the axolotls?

  • Your not supposed to keep fish with Axolotls as the fish can mistake the Axolotls gills for bloodworm and nibble at them, also the Axolotl will eat the fish if it gets a chance to. Its very stressful for the Axolotl and is advised to keep them on their own with their own kind.

  • Again, please read the description to the right of the video. All of this information is covered.

  • what kind of floor is that one?

  • Premium white playsand. You have to wash it until you think it is clean and then wash it some more.

  • r the fish food or do they get along eh?

  • If you read my description to the right of the video, it explains the presence of the fish. Not only do the axolotls pose a danger to the fish, but the fish can pose a danger to the axolotls gills as well. Mixing the two needs to be done with caution.

  • sweet tank how many gallons

  • This particular tank is 30 gallons.

  • yo does the axolotl get along has he eaten the danios yet coz i wanted to get axolotls to go with my fish.

  • addorable little guy, but he sure is lazy.

  • Eh, your just jealous, lol!!!

  • tru dat. i have always wanted one. i just dont feel like keeping their water that cold. its to much of a hassle

  • It really isn't that bad. If you keep a couple of water bottles in the freezer, just plop one in the tank if the temp gets too high. Keep a couple so that you can rotate them, and you are good to go! I have only had to do that a couple of times.

  • or you can just get a automatic cold thingy

i didnt know they needed to be cold???

    its winter atm

  • Yes, you can use a chiller if you want to invest in one. The optimum temperature is 68 degrees for axolotls. Temps over 72 and they stress badly and can die.

  • im australian and that is farenhigt i think they call it

    we go by degrees celcius

  • It needs to be between 6-22 and they will not be stressed. Any higher or lower and they might die.

    I keep mine at 16-18

  • yo do u heat axolotl and can you just pick em up like that
