where in north downs are you at in this vid i just started playing my 36 Lore Master Framir (silverlode for anyone who wants to quest) again and i was hunting drakes and worms and ther in the mountains in Angmar (even though the game counts it as North Downs) where did u get the ruins

near arigamar north, north downs going up towards angrigamar..fought them before 28-35elites i think its pretty cool u get that red helm the champion has and a nice chest piece thats what i got anyways for hunting drakes//drake quest

no offence, but the minstrel is a total noob - he doesnt use buffs, he uses inspire fellows when NOT needed (an that skill does a lot of aggro) and doesnt use anthems! WTF?!?!

lol man you guys were slow killing them... at lvl 33(lvl 48 now) with a capt guard champ and LM no healer all under lvl 34 we would grab 3 or 4 drakes and kill them all within 2-3 mins of starting and not one of us died in the hole thing. Im a hunter

Ever heard of the 'mother of the valley' quest? there you have to kill a dragon. and there is tons of dragons that are elite up on the mountains when you enter angmar.

No, those are Drakes- Dragons with their front appendages evolved into wings. The Dragon I had in mind was Thorog. Run a vid search on him, you'll see. I downed him again this evening in a kin Helegrod run : )

Worm and drake fighting. There are no dragons here. Dragon-kind means they're only relatives. A dragon would take serious offense if a drake is referred as such. And the fury that would be unleashed on the one who would make the mistake of referring a worm as a dragon, as they're at the low end of their kind, would be enormous. You won't see a dragon in LotRO until around level 45.

the only bad thing is the combat animation looks abit lame for example the champion does the same moves over and over and his swords don't even touch the enemy. but still great game!

i've played both, wow for a year and lotro for 30 days. lotro is a good game, with lots of potencial, but lacks something i dont know what. wow have more sounds and light effects from spells and you realy have to use the mouse in the fights, it also have some good pvp system with the arenas, battlegrounds and the "forgotten" world pvp in pvp servers. personaly i'm going back to wow.
