Bobtails Rescue: How to sex a guinea pig

If only you knew how many unwanted litters we have to re-home every year as a result of their owners not determining the sex of their guinea pigs.......

hmmmm. I still can't tell with mine. What am I doing wrong? I didnt buy my guine pig from a pet shop it was from a woman who had a farm who swore it was a boy but he has no characteristics of being one......

I jst got a piggie 2day and I tried 2 see if it was a boy or girl but it hates heights so I tried 2 do it with it laying on it's back. As soon as I touched it, um, down there it freaked out but I think it's a boy. I asked the lady at te pet store and she said it's whatever you want it to be. It's so hard to tell that we don't know

ive got 6 baby piggies 3wks old and im about 2go and check the sex it looks pretty easy lol hope i get it rite or oops more babies but mummy piggie (Chloe) had a very stressful labour n pulled almost all of her fur from her back and bottom and was very sore i felt so guilty i never want 2put her through that again if i can help it.. off i go 2sex the piggies :)
