@Duckyistrippin Those guns have been there for about 70 years, a lot could have happened since then. Nothing can prove that the place where those were found was the actual place the soldiers died on. They could have been thrown in there on purpose, dropped or the soldiers they belonged to could have died elsewhere. If you can't find any evidence that someone died there, you can't really prove it's a grave.

What if that weapon was jammed or otherwise damaged? what if it was in a vehicle and the vehicle was destroyed or dumped during a retreat? What if it was in a box with other supplied, and that supply depot was about to be overrun? What if it belonged to a man wounded, and he left it or was carried away, and they left the weapon behind?

Hello! You've got lucky on this one! Although the metal items are completely rusted, the best is the moment when you find them and finds are good indeed G43 is quite rare. Interesting how that lee- enfield showed up in Poland. Good Luck!

@karamelles98 Hi, It is very relaxing to do, a bit like fishing ;-) The G 43 is indeed not very common. The Enfield is probably used as a Beutewaffen or delivered to the Russians in the lend-and-lease program. We already found some Britisch valentine tank tracks, with a pile of .30 cal cartridges next to it, in Poland. On the net I found out that the British, via Canada, delivered valentine tanks with US machineguns to Russia. The information from the archives has been proven in the field :-)

Het is een Duitse CZ27, een klein hand pistooltje, dat in tsjechie is geproduseerd tijdens de Duitse bezetting onder toezicht van de Duitsers. Een zeldzaam ding dus.
