Nice, but I think you should put in a stronger clutch springin order the clutches engages later and not almost immediately (at low rpm) as it seems is doing. With a high rpm spring you will get much better acceleration.

Im going to give Redcat props. I like Hpi but they still have yet to put anything out there thats 4WD and 1/5th. I've been wanting a 5B for awhile now but this just put a wrench in the gears. If they released a KIT version of this, its game over

Yup and man, our new light weight 4WD 1/5 Scale Gasoline bajas are coming out soon sometime in June :) Those are going to be like half the weight of the current models, new suspension, new central transmission and full 4WD and a good light weight Gasoline with 26cc and 30cc will simply kick ass on every terrain. Plus wait for a big surprise too soon :) in Electric Power 1/5 scale that rips the terrain with its jaw dropping acceleration

I'd love to buy one, I would however ditch the motor in favor or something... a little better / reliable. And the radio. Infact if I could get this in a roller I'd order one right now.

I think that's part of the deal. If you want the kit to come with a $250 engine, the kit will cost an extra $250 (which would put you into Hpi Baja territory)

I still vote for a kit. I more then likely will end up trying this out later on in the year (when I have the cash for it) One rule I have on anything Nitro or Gas is once you take it out of the box, before you even think about starting it you tare down the engine and clean it and rebuild it. Then do a once over

yes the hpi hubs fit. I have a MT that I converted to a short course truck using the hpi hubs. I have a dune runner 4x4 on the way that will also be converted to a short course truck. they share many similar parts with the tt and mt. just remember with the low price also comes questionable quality.If you live in the us parts are pretty easy to get through websites. dont get me wrong this is worth its money but you will be doing upgrades and fabrication to improve its quality.

I have the dunerunner 2wd buggy. Just got it ran about 3 or 4 tanks thru it. Runs great 27cc with ddm tuned pipe...LOUD, ltos of power, I'm still in the porcess of breaking it in. THE STOCK SHOCKS AREN'T VERY GOOD, MY BENT HARD 90% JUST A FEW FEET OFF THE GROUND.. and the tires are now slicks.. My bad hottop running..But overall not a bad little buggy..My first 1/5 scale.. B.T.Y Will the Hpi hubs fit on the redcat shaft so I can use hpi rims and tires?? Thanks.

I never had any problems with the gears in this one. Did have problems with dog bone. and broke shocks LOL cuz i do insane high jumps on this one. drive it like a nitro buggy lol. but for sure RedCat Gasoline are the best

hey alishanmao on the video how to replace the pull start into a eletric starter did the nitro buggie that you had just started up so fast with the eletric starter because the engine was already broken in or will an rc nitro buggie still start up like that with the eletric starter even though the engine is not broken in yet should it be easy starting and not a pain RE:

Dude very nice I must say I was waiting for redcat to make this a 4wd and they did. One question by the way do you know if it will be sold as a RTR or roller. Because I have been wanting to get one and upgrade to a bigger engine and a 2.4ghz radio but wasn't sure if I wanted the 2wd or 4wd and now that this is coming out. Well said except that you have no idea how annoying Chinese people can be. Well in UK they just tell you its louder or noisy, here in China, they come so silently, they sneak up at you and before you know their hands are already busy, picking the stuff, taking shells off and looking inside, poking tires. Totally sick people with no sense of privacy. I often get rude and angry with them and ask them to leave.

This isnt 4wd. Look on Redcats website at the pictures theres no drivetrain to the front wheels (its the DUNERUNNER(2wd) not the TT(4wd) ) and look when he takes off sand only picks up behind the back wheels(4 wheel drive it would pick up after all 4 wheels)

look at 0:45 theres only the turnbuckles/bottomarm/steering link still a great buggy though..id get one of these if they make a RTR package

Hey man, this is 4WD. I am going to post another video showing the inside of the vehicle. You can see there is a one simple mechanism turning it into 4WD. However front wheels do not have much bite due to a long 2 sets of dog bones going to front gear box. Look for video New view of my house in HJ.
