This guys' awsome! He's a genuine do-it-yourselfer, no nonsense guy. I'm a sequential artist and do everything by hand. My studio is my desk in my living room and I use a dixon 2/hb for my ruffs and a sharpie fine pen for inks, (both got at wal mart) and comic book art board sketch pads, when they're on sale at Michaels...so I understand where he comes from.

I agree - I think the type of tips you are looking for are things artists have learned over the years which they could easily save you the trouble of finding out on your own.

One of my best advice would be to work on your dimensions. What I mean, without making a video, is to use some sort of device (ruler) to make sure your proportions are correct and consistent! Make sure all similar angles are consistent. Start light, helps with erasing, and add darkness w/dark pencils.

Find your own style!
