  • kinda sounds like he says "beauty of your slender ass"

  • always good stuff !

  • thanks so much for putting these tutorials out here....and in nice easily digestible pieces

  • Awesome lessons! I've been experimenting with stuff like this. You guys are verifying that I am on the right track.

  • All of these tips have been so helpful! Thank you! Great job!

  • but what if ALLL I use are drum samples??? O_o

  • One of the most overlooked part of mixing/recording is throwing shakers and tambourines into a mix for "energy" (especially if you are overdubbing all the parts yourself this is a MUST in my book unless you want a really "Static" mix). Cool that your sharing this to people Graham! =)

  • Heya Graham, found this, but not first, today's link went to last vid, not this one (oops)

    BEST man

  • Is that Jesus on the percussion, or is he actually playing all the instuments?

  • No,no,no...........he's been WAY too busy LHFAO at the GOP debates. ;)

  • Nice one.

  • The videos Graham has for sell on his site are very detailed for those who wanna get deeper into it.. I HIGHLY recommend them. U wont regret it.

  • Not sure this would work in metal lol

  • DUDE!!!!! STOP IT!!!! The growth in my mixing ability in the last few weeks is freakish. I getting scared! What used to take me all day is now taking me a couple of hours, tops!!! Thanks for taking the time to do this!!!

  • sound cool but lead vocal is bit not enough clear in my tast need som noisy frequ like 2000hz 3000

  • @TheComposer1979 Oh, do shut up.

  • @burpo I think i didnt speak to u and i think if u didnt see that ur just an amater

  • @TheComposer1979 You can't even spell.

  • Tambourine on so many motown records.

In London in the 60's one guy could play the tambourine really well in time he was one of the busiest sessions guys at that time. Great we have loops we can use now. Great tip.

  • Another great video, once again! Thanks Graham!

What's the song? Where can it be downloaded?

    ~ Chris M.

  • Don't you know how glad I am to listening to your tips through all these last months. When i listen to your advices and musical examples I feel like to having a great friend that like to talk what I would call "poetry" about recording techniques and also has a passionate dedication and loves about what recording and mixing is. Thank you a lot for being our audio friend and adviser too Best Regards and blessings your always friend Elias
  • Another great video Graham. You sound just a bit tired at times in this one, but it's an excellent tip and as usual you give a clear explanation of the what and the why and the how.

  • nice! That really was the missing bit to make the chorus stand out. Some people also automate the overheads up for kindalike the same reason. Now I should begin building my own loop library.

  • excellent -

  • I would add some acc perc/guitar on the upbeat
