  • she know she still sound the same. ANNOINTED! one of my favorites of all time! JESUS!!

  • I don't even go to church, but the way she sings this song touches my soul.

  • Go to church and stay there! You won't regret it!!

  • @fnihp30 You ain't said nothing but the truth!

  • I was starting to get into it when it cut off:((( That Lashun is something else...

  • I can relate to her description of how God cleansed her black soul and now it is as white as snow. He did the same thing for me, thank you Jesus. I am glad to have a "white soul" housed in my black body. Praise God.

  • I respect others opinions. I really enjoyed this song except the ending. There is nothing about my Soul that must be turned "white". I'm good. The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Job 33:4 When I was younger and did not know about God, I thought the same as the words at the end of this song. I do understand what she meant by it though.

  • The Bible says "there is none righteous, no not one". Any "goodness" we have comes from Jesus shedding his blood on the cross for our sins. When we accept his gift of salvation he takes our soul that was stained "black" with sin, cleanses it, and makes it "white as snow". "If any man be in Christ he is a new creature. Old things are passed away behold all things are become NEW! Now I am clean because the Lord as cleansed my soul and made me new! Hallelujah!! Accept his gift of salvation!

  • Dear Heart. I understand what the songs says. I am referring to the fact that THERE IS NOTHING WRONG with BLACK. I said, I didn't understand what "She Meant by it". No one is making my soul white to make me feel "saved". I was saved in the womb when my Afrikan mother nurtured me while in triple darkness. Anyone that has studied the Word or teaches it, as I do should know that. Some of us, after learning the true meaning of this "black soul to white as snow" would NEVER say that!

  • Salvation comes only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. The Bible does not speak of our mothers "nurturing in the womb". I also am a student of the Word of God. We must accept His gift in order to be saved. It is not by any form of our works or the works of others. ONLY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST cleansing us from unrighteousness. These truths are all in the Word of God. If your are trusting in the nurturing of your Afrikan mother for salvation you are not saved according to God's Word.

  • I am making every attempt to respect your views but don't try to force them on me by giving these replies to me. I have my views and your responding with your beliefs will not change who I am or my beliefs. You don't know me. Future responses to me have been blocked. But you take care.

  • John 14:6 Jesus said unto them, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life No man cometh unto the Father but by me.

These are not my views. Everything I have said to you came from the Word of God. I take no offense in your words. You are right, I don't know you. This is between you and God.

  • i agree with you. i heard that line and thought the same thing.

  • Praise Jah

  • my soul is healing and I need some good music to bring my out my funk.

  • AWESOMEE....Yall Check out Mama's face at 1:31-33 when Ms. Pace hit that "extinct" note lol

  • I know! How can Lashun be hoarse but still hit of this world high notes like that. Chrystal Rucker, and Lashun know they are true sopranos!

  • YOU KNOW IT...N DON'T 4GET THE ORIGINAL KCS....you know karen be hitn retarded head notes....u should here this new song between her and donnie mcclurkin i nearly wet my self...it's entitled "wait"

  • True but Karen don't belt as high as no Lashun though and not as loud!!!!!!!

  • I've have heard her done it a few times...."Christ is coming back", "Oh the glory" shoots you should hear Karen and Donnie "Wait" lol she's doesn't belta all da time but she does when she wanna lol

  • That new song Karen does not belt that high. The highest is like a G5! Lashun belts always Bb5's B5's C6's in like every live performance. Karen yes can belt that high but not as consistently! Its natural for Lashun to belt that high because she is a higher soprano.

  • it depends on what Karen is singing and what she wants to do but consistency has nothing to do with it..either you can or you can't..

  • Yes it does Karen is a lower soprano over Lashun. Lashun is the very highest soprano possible along with Lorraine Stancil. These woman sopranos are extremely. Karen is a first soprano, but not a first first super soprano like Lashun!

  • No it doesn't as far as her ability is concerned..and there is no such thing as a first first super soprano

  • Lol, she stopped mid-way her rock!

  • She is a power house love her

  • SING IT!!!!!

  • You go girl!! Tell my testimony. They don't understand what u r talking about. When you have been touched my the holy spirit, all has changed. Create in me a clean heart. That is what happens when u know u'v been changed!!

  • Titus where's the rest?

  • This woman voince has truly been annointed by God himself;

  • God's chemical laboratory of redemption.... AMEN!

  • Eye kno right. Praise God!!

  • Wow!!!she is amazing!!!I absolutely love her!!!!!!

  • For those DIE HARD Lashun fans: She recorded a song a long time ago entitled "He Can Do Everything". Does anyone have that?

  • I'm truly sorry to hear that. I also trust & believe in God's infinite power and I will be praying for her.I love this song & it's power.

  • lashun pace is so good

  • Lord knows that I've been changed.Halleujah!

  • wow this entire video is just lashun doing what she does best.them highs and growls...this woman is a power house for real

  • Praise God !!!

  • yes yes.. diss is wurr its at..

  • Hello People of God,

Please say a special prayer for LaShaun Pace Holmes of the famous Pace Sisters. She has recently fallen ill and has undergone numerous heart sergeries. We all know that the prayers of the righteous availeth much, so I am believing that if we ALL come together on one accord, there can be a miraculous move of healing from God towards Shaun. Let us all intercede on behalf of our sister in Christ.

    *BE BLESSED*

  • Look at Dr.White in the begnning.

  • Which one is Dr.White

  • In the Tanish/Brown suite. She walks behind LaShun at 00:04.

  • Lashun is so anointed! God Bless Her! I love all her songs and her testimony is truly amazing! God Bless =)

  • Also, you do not have to write the Bible to be able to interpret it. Scriptures say that He gave to us preachers and teachers and prophets. If we were not meant to interpret books that we didn't write, our understanding would be unfruitful and we would be illiterate. (I know I had a lot to say...)

  • In other words, if you are a "Christian", you live and follow the teachings of Christ. Yes, unfortunately, they did misuse Christianity back in the slave day, and they misuse it today. That has never changed. But I don't consider it to be the "white man's" religion, because I know and work hard to live the true meaning of Christianity.

  • Third, I must speak a little on the history of Christianity. It was a derogatory term used by the Pharisees and Saducees to mock those who were following Jesus the Christ. And ever since then, people have been taking that word out of context. "Christian" actually means "Christ-Like".

  • First, I just want to say that we have totally gone off the subject here, which is Lashun, who is anointed and gifted by God to minister His Word (yes, His, not hers or It) through song. Second, Jesus is not white, nor black, HE'S A JEW. He is Jewish.

  • BOO! I don't want my BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BLACK SOUL dipped in nothing to make it snow white. WTF are we still field hands and shit. Black America stop giving into white standards of beauty...ur only cheating yourself. Every person on earth is beautiful just the way s/he is. If God meant for us all to be white (or technically pale pink for that matter) He/She or It would have made us that color to begin with. Keep it real sweetie.

  • Are you serious?? The song is talking about having a BLACK soul that is STAINED with sin....dipping the BLACK soul into Jesus' RED BLOOD cleansed it (wiped the slate clean) and made it WHITE as snow. Meaning God forgave the sin and made the heart pure again.

  • Damn straight I'm serious! Why does the word "BLACK" have to connotate stained and dirty and unrighteous and evil all the time? When does the word "white" mean anything but pure and pleasing in God's sight? Even a "white lie" is seen as an acceptable thing in society.

  • Have you ever thought about that?? Have you ever thought about why that may be?? The fact of the matter is that if you knew anything AT ALL about African-American history you would know that Christianity was given to the African slaves (who by the way had their own religions) in this country by racist white slaveowners as a means of keeping them subdued, from rising up--in other words subservient.

  • It was a way of making them believe that the more meek and mild they behaved in this life (the more Uncle "tomming" they did/were forced to do), the more they would be liberated, rewarded and saved by this loving white Jesus in the afterlife. Don't be so naive to think that words like "dark" and "black" don't have any connection with racial classifications in this society and others around the world.

  • My intention is not to argue with you or anybody else for that matter (because u and they alike are entitled to your opinions-- no matter how naive. Besides I have B.A.'s in English Lit. and African-American Studies,I'm an African-American( and therefore a decendant of African slaves) not to mention I was raised in a Christian household and saw all the hypocrisy in my own religion growing up.

  • You are a very angry person. I don't intend to aregue either. But let me tell you one thing while I am at it. I don't care how many degrees you claim to have or whether or not your an African American. Because I am African American too, raised in a Christian household and rage is not even in my vocabulary like yourself. I can see where your coming from, I just don't entirely agree. But hey, doesn't matter cause we're entitled to our own opinion- no matter how off hand they may be.

  • Shouldn't post a response to a comment & ask a ? if you don't want it to be answered. Let's not confuse educated with angry and being articulate with possessing a rageful vocab.Gospel(including some Negro Spirituals)is a beautiful expression of spirituality and I've never felt more connected to my(our) ancestors than when I hear it and think about their struggle. I clicked on this song because I like it(tho i never heard it sung with this racist verse b4)...what more can i say but God Bless.

  • you sound like that character Damon Wayans used to play on In Living Color. You konw the Muslim that used big words and and didnt know how to spell them

  • RCH1jr w.t.f are you talking about? How are you going to comment on my spelling(which is perfectly correct) and your ass can't even spell the word "know"<yep for your info that's how we spell it here in America. Oh but you don't have to take my word for it, just crack a dictionary for the first time in your life and look it up. How are you gonna help me interpret the Bible(which, newsflash, you didn't even write)when you can't even spell kindergarten words dogg...C'mon now, don't be ridiculous.

  • Listen you need Jesus to change your ways coz really you are not helpin yourself. Swearin and alla dat is not good especially when Lashun Pace is singing you need to look at yourself because as far as i can see your not saved and just because you were brought up in a Christian household doesnt necessarily mean your saved. It doesnt mean anything at all unless you ask Jesus to save you. Simple as that!

  • As crazy as you sound you need to quickly have your black soul dipped in some red blood.

  • that is a truly ignorant comment, its not skin color, Bible says were darkened in our soul by our sins, and made white the opposite by Jesus' blood. believe repent be converted be baptised in the Spirit

  • I've already made my point w/insignificant09 & I do have a life 2 get back to so unlike you brocliffclgi & rch1jr I can't keep this posting up.This woman isn't even worth arguing over anyways...I mean I could see if she could really sing!I was baptisted as a child & I was raised Christian you ass (didja even read my comment). However what i choose to believe in now that I have commonsense is my business not urs. Don't try to project ur ignorance on me. I have no time 4 ur brainwashed bullsh*t.

  • its obvious that you arent saved anymore, with that kind of language repent and be converted. ignorance is ignorance whether you admit it or not. this is a spiritual comparison, i suppose thats above your comprehension level, with comments like your are posting

  • a person cannot lose their salvation. Jesus died for us once-he does not take back his gift to us when we disappoint him. We must ask for forgivness to restore our fellowship with him. If a person continually sins without conscience and the Holy Spirit never speaks to them than they are probably not saved anyway. Only God knows.

  • now thie is some real screaming but she sounds okay this kind of singing,i have a ? for every one is this old songs that blacks sang in the fields not being funny forgive me but it's a ?

  • yes kind of

  • She has so much vocal control for someone with so much range! Its amazing!

  • I love her voice. If she had a concert I would go

  • go shun

  • I love Lashun! She has been one of my favorites for years! I don't stray away from who I love to listen to!

  • look at dr. white

  • LaShan You Are Awesome!

  • Her hair isn't shaved, it's a low cut that grew out into a texturizer...which is so IRRELEVANT to the song and praise!!!

  • I love this song,I had everyone in my house and on the bus singing it! She know she hit them notes!

  • Could someone send me the lyrics??? Im too addicted to this song.

  • whatever the reason, her hair looks nice on her....I like it!

  • Sho nuff; git it Shun.

  • Why did she shave her head?

  • Really don't care why she shaved her head, just love the way she ministers that song.

  • idk?

  • Thats Not even a question to ask Why is that your concern.

  • Sometimes you just need to start over...

  • This girl is awesome she needs more credit for awesome skills she has. move over everybody here come shaun

  • This awesome. Does anyone know the gospel choir who sang at McDonalds' gospel fest? The choir wore purple and white and they sang "Blessed be the rock." I can't remember the name of the choir. It was in the 80's or early nineties. I am still trying to get up. They blew me away.

  • Rite....I agree She Is off the hook and her skills are untouchable! She has the Skills and the Annointing, What more can I say.

  • SANG SHUN!!! There ain't nothing like the annointing! If you guys don't have her first CD "He Lives"...you're missing out on a TREAT!!!!

  • I agree! You're killin me here Titus. Where is the whole clip? If you have a reason for not giving it then that's kool I respect that. But if you have it please give it. I do thank you though for posting what you do post!

  • Anointed Vessel for real. A True Prophetic Psalmist!
