Hey Staf! Hope you're not freezing your arse off in Sweeden mate :) You should come to Australia in your winter, it's sunny and warm here!!!! Take care buddy, your mate - Max
YeAH!!! SCHUMI!!!! i finally get to watch the master race! Hopefully, i reckon it will be Ferrari vs mclaren vs mercedes vs red bull, as the front running teams.
Watch the Master teach the new kids on the block "hamilton, alonso (revenge), vettel and massa" who the real boss is... he has nothing more to prove besides the drive of gratidude for mercedes who provided his first drive"
Definatley looking to be a season to remember. Hamilton vs Alonso vs Vettel vs Schumacher vs Massa. 5 Drivers with indeniable pedigree. Then you still have Button, Webber and I will be interested to see what Barichello can still do, I think he can still pull summat out and also Kobayashi looks tasty if he gets a drive.
Anyone starting to really believe this is really gonna happen, OMG, bring it on, cant wait. Who else is thinking 2010 is shaping up to be the best season for i dont know how long?
He needs that F1 fix for just one more season. As for him being 40...i'm 41 and i have never been as physically fit as i am now! I am on the verge of joining a running club where i will be competing in the local championships next year. I cant wait to compete against the 20 and 30 something runners! age does not kill your desire to be a competitive bastard, ha ha!. Schumacher can easily handle the currant crop of drivers.
Fuck yeah!!! 40's the new 30 from what I've been told :) I'm 39 so, that really means I'm 10 years younger....soooo I'm really 29! WooHoo, I'm still in my twenties :) - Pep (sorry, I mean Max)
Hopefully if they bring schumi back it will start a chain of events in F1 of going back to the past ending with a removal of the current engine size limitations...id love to see that 1994 ferrari v12 one more time and regain a sense of passion in the sport that has seemed to gone away amongst all this technical restrictions and crap.
As your resident Heidfeld fan I am torn. I would love to see Schumacher back... but not if it cost nick a drive in F1. Where would he go if he can't land the seat with Merc?
Buddy, you know I like 'Quick Nick' too, so you're not alone. He simply has to get a seat in 2010. I, like you, am keeping my fingers crossed. Why didn't 'Team Willy' employ him instead of Barrichello? Hmmm - Max
So Schumi statistically the greatest driver of all time, makes a comeback and ends up finishing 4th 5th or 6th? Then what? His legacy is already marred by his controversial background in the sport, why further taint that? Schumi fans will undoubtedly be ecstatic, but the reality, he is 40 and will be battling against raw talent half his age, this whole situation is wishful thinking at the highest level
Its funny how we always look back and think they were the golden years. We have so many great drivers in F1 right now and we will look back in years to come and say, remember watching , Hamilton, Alonso, Vettel, Rosberg, Webber, Button, Senna, Hulkenburg and alike. The cars are so much closer in terms of pace now than they have ever been. We are in a great era so lets enjoy it. The old days were great but its easy to only remember the best bits. Role on 2010.
Guys - great video, as always. It's thoroughly appreciated so keep it up.
I think it's more than likely Schumacher will return, if only on a one year deal as a stop-gap for Sebastian Vettel. With Schumacher and Villeneuve back on the grid next year, we'll have our fair share of feisty characters on the circuits for 2010. Can't wait!
Yes! That's pretty much what I think. Today we have awesome drivers in the grid, but everyone thinks about the past as something perfect.
We have Hamilton, a young driver who risks everything for a win. Vettel, as talented as a young Schumacher. Alonso and Massa, both very fast and very passionate. Button, smooth as silk, like a modern Alain Prost. Just to mention a few!
I cant wait to find out if schumacher will return, if we can get JV and Montoya back it will be like going back to 2000. these are golden years in F1. Question: who will be the "silver arrows" now that mercedes have there own team, will Mclaren have to give up that handle?
Schumachers return would be akin to Jesus making a comeback. only one national anthem to be played when micheal wins. positive thoughts that Jacques villeneuve will return also.
i personally think that heidfeld will get the seat but i'm hoping schumacher gets it!
that would be so fuckin' awesome!!!!!!!
i was apocolyptically disappointed when he didn't make his comeback this year but i'm hoping he can step into the cockpit once more, just so we can see the all mighty race again...
I'd love it, but I doubt it. It would be strange to associate Schumi with Mercedes, though. :D The arch rival in all those years, more or less, in McLaren.
OMG if Michael was to come back, i think i might actually cry, im a huge shumi fan, what an awesome season we'd have! i cant wait guys, i really cant and i dont have the v8s anymore!
Kind of sick of hearing about Michael Schumacher. F1 doesn't need him now, plus I can't help but think that a return to F1 wouldn't be a great thing for Schumacher.
what is that very last image of the silver car? I'm pretty new to f1 and unfamiliar with much of its heritage but that's maybe the most interesting looking car I've come across!
The car at the end is the Mercedes-Benz W196 from 1954 and 1955. Driven by Fangio and Moss it won 9 of the 12 races it entered. So it was sexy and fast! (Pep)
i saw in one of your videos you were saying brawn were statistically the best f1 team ever but technically mercedes are, seeing as they competed 2 seasons (sort of) and won 2 titles... now that they've bought brawn, that kind of gives them 3... what a track record!
I love your Pod Cast Keep it Coming ..very sensible!!!

Haha i know you two are Quick Nick fans really.
I think he might have been a better fit for Williams than the hot headed Rubens actually.
Glad barrichello got a relatively good drive though.

Montoya? - who is that? Never heard of him. ;-)
Regarding your question - yeah Mercedes ARE the Silver Arrows, McLaren can not claim that anymore imo (Pep)

I would have to agree with you on that pep, I guess montoya was not that memerable except for connie montoya.
