  • @FluffyBunniesOnFire The difference between theist and atheist is a materialistic symbol called an "a"

  • Before engaging the subject of "God" one has to open oneself up to a sea of interpretations of the word that go beyond the strawman of the meddlesome bearded sky magician interpretation. A "divine" experience can be a delving into your deepest levels of consciousness, or the sensation of a unified cosmic consciousness, or the recognition of the "character" of the universe itself. From such a vantage point the formal divide between theist and atheist is merely semantic.

  • @FluffyBunniesOnFire ~ Hmmmm. Very heady , but true.

  • all is different in each moment as each cycle changes from inception of insight or experience to the participation of outward choice. Life is more than a visual art or hot cold warm wet dry it is permeating

  • God Conscience is a reality more than you think it is all inclusive and all knowing all the time in the state of grace and in the moment-

  • Though I disagreed with most of his philosophies, George seemed like a genuinely nice guy. He definitely aged well before he got sick.

  • Why are some people kicking off on a vid about george harrison.....if you don't like his music or ethos visit another page guys...whether one man decides to mantra or pray or just live life, let him do it and go and slag someone else off who has no meaning in popular culture or history...

  • @ianbowman ~ yeay! You're so right! I often wonder what these people are even doing on these sites. Hmmm?

  • his mantra was POT !!!!!

  • @Atomicflash500 used to be until he had a realisation

  • welcome to hinduism

  • @sra5869 So... are you being "real" or sarcastic? I am sure George Harrison partook in "substances". However... it sems that it did not imapair his musical genius. And he didn't "partake" enough to burn him into smitherines. And, unlke most others (except Ringo -- who learned rom George and stayd with it) George stayed TRUE to his soiritual direction -- all the way until the very end. Hari Bol George....

  • @Leepconsult - Ugh! Look...can we be honest here? He

was a Beatle! He was a good soldier! He was a good 3

part harmony singer and he wrote 2 or 3 good songs!

However, George Harrison was NO "musical genius"!

If you can call George Harrison a "genius" because he

was a Beatle, then I can call my Corolla a Lexus because

    they're both Toyotas!

  • @CubanCheGuevara Ok. So at least we can all agree that G. Harrison was part of a group called the Beatles and that they will be listened to in a hundred years from now, long after we're all gone. George Harrison was a rock legend. Can we agree on that, or do you want to argue that point?

  • @eric5906 - Seriously, I would like to suggest to you that

George Harrison's dubious fame is largely built on the backs

of his two older, more talented bandmates. While I do not

think he hurt the Beatles, I do NOT think he was the driving

force behind their success. Frankly, much like Ringo, just

about ANYBODY with marginal talent could have replaced

George at any time and have been JUST AS FAMOUS. Do

you understand what I'm saying? It wasn't George, it was

    the BAND he was in.

  • @CubanCheGuevara It's up for debate who was the biggest Beatle. But, the tone of many of their later albums would not be the same if not for George. He had a unique talent of weaving in things like the sitar and other Indian instruments into rock songs. He infused a certain kind of Eastern mysticism that made the Beatles so much better than if "anybody with marginal talent" could have done. Could have replaced him with anybody? Jesus, you gave me a hearty laugh when I read that. Thank you.

  • @eric5906 -

You sound terribly sentimental about George. I am not. With all

due respect, much of what you said about his contributions are

almost cliches. The Sitar served its purpose but quickly became

a passing curiosity. The whole Sitar THING was damn near booed

off stage during Concert For Bangladesh. George got help from

John and Paul on Something and Gently Weeps. I think you'd be

more HURT than SHOCKED to find out George wasn't that important.

  • @FrightWolf You don't realize yourself, the soul within. Someone named Yeshua was also needlessly punished but was, as George too, not disturbed. We should consider all aspects of any act which comes upon us all as a step to the next level of being eternal, as we all are.

  • @studykrishna Your little pretend god has no value here my friend. Go sell it somewhere else.

  • Silly little man. Wasted the Beatles thing with this Krishna nonsense.

  • @CubanCheGuevara you're a silly little ignorant

  • LOL Stabbed to pieces by a lunatic, died of a horrific form of cancer which ate him alive from the inside/out. My goodness...CHANTING and his "sweet lord" certainly took care of him!

  • @FrlghtWolf George Harrison is one of the greatest musicians of our time, to make fun of all he went through in the closing aspects of his life is pathetic.
