What a lovely comment Mary, how we all miss her and, interestingly, had she lived, she would have been celebrating her 70th birthday next year. I think it's only fair and right that the BBC dedicate a evening to her starting with the marvellous series she did for them over 2/3 years Dusty live at the BBC, now only available on DVD, and which some berk went and lost so that now we only have about half the series, it's the least they could do, especially as 2009, 10th anniversary of her death.

Mary, you are so right when you say she is just everything. Just looking at this short clip gives a wonderful insight to her personality; we see the wacky humour, cheeky humour, warmth, kindness and empathy. It wasn't just her voice, it was the emotion she poured into it and the way she expressed that on stage, plus, of course, her looks. She WAS everything. Did you ever see her on stage? I've always loved Dusty Springfield and her music. And i've recently gotten a chance to view her two documentaries, and I love her just that much more now. With that being said I think that the people taking the videos, and the young lady in the video itself should consider themselves very blessed to have been in such a womans' presence.

I once saw a documentary on Dusty and it was obvious what a wonderful and real and thoroughly decent person she was. You can get a sense of that even in this short clip. She also has one of the most soulful voices I've ever heard.

This is a copy of original 8mm filmed footage and the edits were made in the camera by the security guard who filmed it for Mary, who is in the video with Dusty. He must of stopped the camera. Unfortunately this is all that there is of this moment of Dusty, brief but charming!
