i like terry, and i like ryu. both character are similar. both traveling looking for a good fight. i just hate how snk dont make terry Good how he really is. i mean the guy beat gesse. ryu beat ken 3 to 1. beat sagat the guy is a monster, n m.bison saw the street fighter movie. funny the first sf 2 barlog, vega, sagat, and m.bison were original boss team cuz you couldnt pick them. look m. bison vs gesse team good match. mbison can teleport use mental power and fly.
just in my opinion, I think Geese should've win because :
1. IIRC while he was young he already had a power equal to a demon. and feared in underground fighting arena.
2. defeated Jeff Bogard who is considered the strongest fighter in south town perfect. and that's while he was young too.
maybe you're going to ask me "what's with those two? those are not impressive". well, Bison too in his second form is much weaker than his previous form and he has no feats.
1. His aof2 background reads: "He became a brutal killer and it is rumored that he is as strong as a demon!"
First of all, just rumors. Secondly, demon is pretty vague and finally, seems more like a literary expression for saying "He is really really tough" rather than an actual statement.
2. I read that he killed Jeff in a 'cowardly attack'
SFII Bison is not as strong as his SFA3 self, but there is no way to be able to tell to what extent. Everything hints he is still stronger than Sagat.
Anyway, I watched the intro and Geese did actually defeat someone, but Jeff is such a secondary character to the games than it doesn't say much (And Jeff's performance wasn't very impressive. Andy, Joe, Billy, etc. could do better against Geese than he did). It's just like when Bison killed his master.
@EvilRyuGuy you've also obviously have fought against Geese in any Fatal Fury game, especially Fatal Fury 1... SFA3 was bout as cheap and strong as a regular SNK Boss, while in SF2 he's just plain cheap... Geese is nowhere near as cheap and I still can't beat him in Fatal Fury 1... And while I've beaten SFA3 and SFII, I haven't beaten FF1. To give you an understanding, he's bout as tough as Shin Akuma in SSFIIT.
@KimSulYong It's been too long since I played Fatal Fury 1 (snes version), but I don't remember having too many problems finishing the game. Now arcade Rugal in 94, that boss left me memories I'll never forget (Me being new to the kof series in that moment and having troubles with the regular battles didn't help either).
SFA3 Bison was easy and predictable, like Seth. I don't know why people consider him hard. SF2 Shin Akuma though, I never beat him without cheating, but I suck at SF2 anyway.
- Snk has had dealt a higher number of KOs in the tournament.
- Even if you don't count the rounds where on fighter was too damaged from a previous fight to deal with a fresh fighter, and only count the more fair match ups, snk still has the higher number of victories.
Not that I have anything against them, but as powerful they are considered and as popular Geese might be, in their actual storylines those guys have done nothing but losing fights (maybe except for Krauser who beat up Joe's rival) so there's no reason to think it would be any different here.
I would have to disagree. Come on Balrog winning? They always talk about him being weak as a fighter.
And really if we wanna play the whole they only lose card then why hasn't Bison taken over the world in the capcom universe? Because he always loses so that's not gonna cut it.
That info doesn't appear in the game, it was more like official artwork. A "Vale Tudo Eternal Fighting" event that Balrog had won 2 years in a row until Alex participated.

I'm basing things off of the comics as well. Sure he was banned from boxing, but come on, Birdie. Are you saying birdie can just beat Ryu, Ken, Guile, or even Chun Li? Balrog is a skilled fighter and i know many people that can use him on the games but he's not top of the street fighter roster.
How often does Akuma just pop up to stop bison's plans? I don't think he just looks for bison since he knows he can beat him every time. Bison needs a new game plan to take over the world.
I'm not basing anything of comics, I'm talking about canon storyline.
I didn't say Birdie could beat them, I just said his fighting skill was high enough to impress Bison (Just because he looks like those generic thugs that get owned easily in fiction doesn't mean he is as weak as them. Shadaloo has 2000 highly skilled martial artists, so impressing Bison is a feat, and have you seen his SFA2 ending? his training consisted in headbutting metal plates)
Balrog isn't roster top, but all seems to hint he is higher than medium, so mid-high would probably be his place.
Akuma used the ShunGokuSatsu in Bison at SFII. Back during SFA3, Bison got ganged up by a lot of other fighters in consecutive fights. The only fight he lost against a single opponent was Rose in SFA2, but Rose is pretty powerful and around that time he was still strong enough to defeat Chun Li easily.

well Bison has always been able to beat Chun Li. She has always wanted to but never could beat him. I don't doubt bison's power one bit. But when you said that all Geese ever does is lose I was just thinking that Bison hasn't won either so their not that different.
The only people to be Geese 1-on-1 was Terry Bogard and Rugal, so I consider the two to be the same or at least in the same boat.
Yeah, but not finishing him. Its funny how the timeline works for Ryo was technically the "first" King of Fighters but whatever. AoF came before FF and Ryo had already beaten Geese once.
Terry just did it with more style and he's alot more likable. I kinda laugh because SNK has a habit of having Ryo get bitched by someone but Terry hardly ever even though Ryo was able to beat Geese first.

Actually there's no statement of Rose ever defeating Bison. What the plot guide said was that they fought in SFA3, after Bison's encounter with Ryu, and Rose was able to give him a challenge, but still lost.
I didn't both with SFA2 because i hated the first one so much. i couldn't stand the animation, the story was weak, and so many characters were just useless.
I was happy to see Birdie have a bigger role in the movie but Ryu's little brother and hinting Akuma could be Ryu's father was just garbage.
Iori's fans are all a bunch of emo kids that listen to crappy J-Pop. I actually wouldn't mind seeing Ryo lose to Ryu so long it's epic (Haohshokouken vs. Denjin Hadouken), but Terry has to come out on top. He's the real King Of Fighters, not even Kyo compares to him.
Iori is not emo. he just hates kyo kusanagi alot. sure iori is antisocial and ruthless, but by no means is he emo. and for the record. i'd rather see either ryu kyo or iori win. those three are the best

i like terry, and i like ryu. both character are similar. both traveling looking for a good fight. i just hate how snk dont make terry Good how he really is. i mean the guy beat gesse. ryu beat ken 3 to 1. beat sagat the guy is a monster, n m.bison saw the street fighter movie. funny the first sf 2 barlog, vega, sagat, and m.bison were original boss team cuz you couldnt pick them. look m. bison vs gesse team good match. mbison can teleport use mental power and fly.

Geese plays nothing like Akuma and Gouken outside his A.I. and that's in Fatal Fury and KOF.
Real Bout and/or Nightmare Geese actually does his unique moves.

just in my opinion, I think Geese should've win because :
1. IIRC while he was young he already had a power equal to a demon. and feared in underground fighting arena.
2. defeated Jeff Bogard who is considered the strongest fighter in south town perfect. and that's while he was young too.
maybe you're going to ask me "what's with those two? those are not impressive". well, Bison too in his second form is much weaker than his previous form and he has no feats.

First of all, just rumors. Secondly, demon is pretty vague and finally, seems more like a literary expression for saying "He is really really tough" rather than an actual statement.
2. I read that he killed Jeff in a 'cowardly attack'
SFII Bison is not as strong as his SFA3 self, but there is no way to be able to tell to what extent. Everything hints he is still stronger than Sagat.

Anyway, I watched the intro and Geese did actually defeat someone, but Jeff is such a secondary character to the games than it doesn't say much (And Jeff's performance wasn't very impressive. Andy, Joe, Billy, etc. could do better against Geese than he did). It's just like when Bison killed his master.

@EvilRyuGuy you've also obviously have fought against Geese in any Fatal Fury game, especially Fatal Fury 1... SFA3 was bout as cheap and strong as a regular SNK Boss, while in SF2 he's just plain cheap... Geese is nowhere near as cheap and I still can't beat him in Fatal Fury 1... And while I've beaten SFA3 and SFII, I haven't beaten FF1. To give you an understanding, he's bout as tough as Shin Akuma in SSFIIT.

@KimSulYong It's been too long since I played Fatal Fury 1 (snes version), but I don't remember having too many problems finishing the game. Now arcade Rugal in 94, that boss left me memories I'll never forget (Me being new to the kof series in that moment and having troubles with the regular battles didn't help either).
SFA3 Bison was easy and predictable, like Seth. I don't know why people consider him hard. SF2 Shin Akuma though, I never beat him without cheating, but I suck at SF2 anyway.

Count again:
- Capcom and snk teams are tied 4-4 so far.
- Snk has had dealt a higher number of KOs in the tournament.
- Even if you don't count the rounds where on fighter was too damaged from a previous fight to deal with a fresh fighter, and only count the more fair match ups, snk still has the higher number of victories.

Not that I have anything against them, but as powerful they are considered and as popular Geese might be, in their actual storylines those guys have done nothing but losing fights (maybe except for Krauser who beat up Joe's rival) so there's no reason to think it would be any different here.

And really if we wanna play the whole they only lose card then why hasn't Bison taken over the world in the capcom universe? Because he always loses so that's not gonna cut it.

- Banned from official boxing due to his brutality.
- Defeated Birdie (someone whose fighting ability impressed Bison)
- Killing an elephant with one blow
- Being able to give Alex (SFIII) a hard time dominating most of their fight.
And the answer for Bison is simple: Akuma. And he has defeated people, like Ryu for example.

That info doesn't appear in the game, it was more like official artwork. A "Vale Tudo Eternal Fighting" event that Balrog had won 2 years in a row until Alex participated.

I'm basing things off of the comics as well. Sure he was banned from boxing, but come on, Birdie. Are you saying birdie can just beat Ryu, Ken, Guile, or even Chun Li? Balrog is a skilled fighter and i know many people that can use him on the games but he's not top of the street fighter roster.
How often does Akuma just pop up to stop bison's plans? I don't think he just looks for bison since he knows he can beat him every time. Bison needs a new game plan to take over the world.

I'm not basing anything of comics, I'm talking about canon storyline.
I didn't say Birdie could beat them, I just said his fighting skill was high enough to impress Bison (Just because he looks like those generic thugs that get owned easily in fiction doesn't mean he is as weak as them. Shadaloo has 2000 highly skilled martial artists, so impressing Bison is a feat, and have you seen his SFA2 ending? his training consisted in headbutting metal plates)

Balrog isn't roster top, but all seems to hint he is higher than medium, so mid-high would probably be his place.
Akuma used the ShunGokuSatsu in Bison at SFII. Back during SFA3, Bison got ganged up by a lot of other fighters in consecutive fights. The only fight he lost against a single opponent was Rose in SFA2, but Rose is pretty powerful and around that time he was still strong enough to defeat Chun Li easily.

well Bison has always been able to beat Chun Li. She has always wanted to but never could beat him. I don't doubt bison's power one bit. But when you said that all Geese ever does is lose I was just thinking that Bison hasn't won either so their not that different.
The only people to be Geese 1-on-1 was Terry Bogard and Rugal, so I consider the two to be the same or at least in the same boat.

Yeah, but not finishing him. Its funny how the timeline works for Ryo was technically the "first" King of Fighters but whatever. AoF came before FF and Ryo had already beaten Geese once.
Terry just did it with more style and he's alot more likable. I kinda laugh because SNK has a habit of having Ryo get bitched by someone but Terry hardly ever even though Ryo was able to beat Geese first.
Its like they wanna forget about that victory. lol

Actually there's no statement of Rose ever defeating Bison. What the plot guide said was that they fought in SFA3, after Bison's encounter with Ryu, and Rose was able to give him a challenge, but still lost.

I didn't both with SFA2 because i hated the first one so much. i couldn't stand the animation, the story was weak, and so many characters were just useless.
I was happy to see Birdie have a bigger role in the movie but Ryu's little brother and hinting Akuma could be Ryu's father was just garbage.

The animation, story and amount of useless characters in SFA wasn't any worse than in kof 95.
As a matter of fact the weak points in SFA were lack of characters and stages.

Iori's fans are all a bunch of emo kids that listen to crappy J-Pop. I actually wouldn't mind seeing Ryo lose to Ryu so long it's epic (Haohshokouken vs. Denjin Hadouken), but Terry has to come out on top. He's the real King Of Fighters, not even Kyo compares to him.
