  • Thank you to the millionth power! I love this song almost as much as I love McCoy! He's so awsome! Great video! xD

    GO McCoy!

  • Epic Mc Coy fail at 4:02!!

  • He's one of my favorite characters from Star Trek. Never a dull moment with him!

  • That was an AWESOME video!

  • What's the clip at 0:37 from?

  • It's from 'Miri'. For future identification of clips, please look at my EPISODE IDENTIFIER version of this video.

    Thanks.

  • This makes fangirls squee. xD

  • :) "He's really not dead, as long as we remember him."

  • HE'S A DOCTOR!

    (not an engineer)

    this is a great clip!

    xD

  • Does anyone know what episode 2:23 is from?

  • The clip I think you're referring to is "The Enterprise Incident", but please check my "Episode Identifier" version of this video, to be sure.

  • Awsome vid =)

    R.I.P. Doc....

  • what happened to him?

  • If you'll note the end of the video, DeForest Kelley, who played Dr. Leonard Bones McCoy in the Original Series and first six films, passed away in 1999.

  • thats sad

  • Cancer, stomach cancer I think.

  • i LOVE IT!!!!!!

  • I'd like to transform our principals office to look like the bridge.... That'd be friggin EPIC! I say that cause his name is jim

  • you know its really funny and then the end makes me want to cry

    i love it!

  • My fav part is when he's like "I'm a doctor not a shuttle conductor... " BTW Who was Shirtless?

  • I assume you mean from the same scene? It would have been Kirk. McCoy had just finished a physical examination on him when he said that line.

  • LMAO love it!

  • I love S.P.O.C.K! One of their best songs, really-and funniest. Especially the "I'm a Doctor, not an escalator!" Great editing job, too.

  • Anyone think that Chekov and Uhura had a thing together,

i.e Trouble with Tribbles, shore leave together

    whatever episode 0:58 is

Star Trek 5 In SF together looking for nuclear wessels

    just to name a few

  • Not really related to Dr. McCoy now is that?

That said, I think they were just friends.

  • *roooooofl*

    really funny!

  • I agree but there is also a thing between her and mr.Scott to..but i do think uhura and chekov would be good together^^

  • This Video made me WAY to incredibly happy!!!

I'm all bouncing around "YEAH!!! McCoy has his own song!!! YAY!!!"

  • Favourite line: I'm a doctor--not an escalator

  • Mine too lol!

  • Second: Who wants a counteract paradise Jimboy?

  • I loved it! :D it made me laugh so hard, but the very last part made me really really sad T_T And I want this song so bad, but I can't find it! T_T

    RIP DeForest

  • "You keep saying that, are you a doctor or aren't you?"

TOS will never not be funny

RIP Kelley, thanks for all the good times

  • Loved it! And Urban did a fabulous job of "channeling" DeForest - I agree, ObiwanObiwan13!

  • Nein, wie GEIL xD

    McCoy - the best!!! *g*

  • so wait, his name isn't Bones?? sorry, i always thought he was just "docter' then i saw the new movie and evreyone called him bones....

  • The character's full name (as given at any point on screen) is Doctor Leonard H. McCoy. "Bones" is a nickname he was always called by Kirk. In the series there's evidence to support it is derived from "sawbones", which is a slang term for a surgeon. In the movie, as you saw, his nickname came about in a slightly different manner (not to say the original derivation is not still applicable).

  • Here's to the greatest Doctor- NOT an an engineer, bricklayer, shuttle conductor, psychiatrist, or escalator, but just a country DOCTOR- in the galaxy.

And who thinks Karl Urban is just perfect at McCoy, like he's channeling DeForest?

    R.I.P. Deforest

  • AGREED.

The one thing that Karl Urban doesn't have is those gorgeous blue eyes. McCoy was the most beautiful person on the Enterprise.

    R.I.P, Deforest.

I love this vid! Added to my faves!

  • I cried for two days when I learned that he died. I always wanted to meet him. I didn't believe my parents that both Scotty and McCoy were dead. As long as I have Star Trek, they will always live in my heart. R.I.P. McCoy and Scotty. I miss you both dearly.

  • Kelley's McCoy is such a great character.

I like him so much and as long as I live I will not forget him. How can I?

Maybe it is silly, but I am a doctor and the impression of Len McCoy was part of my decision.

    RIP DFK

  • ohh...mccoy....most beautiful man that ever walked the world NO....best man who ever wandered the STAR because he is a star^^

  • Which tng episode was he on?

  • He was in the very first TNG episode, the 2-hr pilot, "Encounter At Farpoint". He arrived at Farpoint via the USS Hood and came aboard the Enterprise for a tour of the new ship. We never saw the tour, but we did see Data escorting him to the shuttlebay, so he could take a shuttle back to the Hood, which is where the closing scene of this video is from.

  • »he's really not dead, as long as we remember.«

i say it not about spock, but about DeForest Kelley. i think, im not the only Bones fan who will never forget him!

  • OMG not true im a HUGE DE KELLEY FAN. he is just so simply beautiful and ARG I can go on forever AND HIS EYES!!!!!!oh hes just my fave person in the world just...*rambiling on* so ur not the onlyone *wink*

  • I love McCoy so much! I cry everytime I watch this because he's dead. I wish I could have gotten the chance to meet him. :( *Crys*

  • 1 word:

I love the character Bones since I watch Star Trek. He's my favorite!

You did a very great job!

    Wow!

I think, I have to watch it again... right now... :-)

  • Thank you :D

  • Yes, it's good

  • liked it very much

  • Loved it! :)

  • One of my favorite charecters...thanks...

  • What CD is this from?

  • There is now a link to the band's website in the description in to the right of the video. The song came from their S.P.O.C.K.:1999 CD

  • Where'd you get the song?

    Tell me the CD

  • Cool work!!!

  • Has McCoy met Picard or Janeway?

  • McCoy's only on-screen interaction with spin-off series characters was the walk through the Enterprise-D corridor with Data that you see in this video. It's possible that he may have met Picard, Janeway or others in one of the novels, but of course those are not part of Trek Canon.
