And I know I´m an evil socialist but it works.. People live good lives and are happy in scandinavia for example. They view government differently from how you view it.

The USA was founded on principle's of freedom, in a nation for and by the people. However, the term "people" and what we mean "by the people" seems to have made a paradigm shift to a people free to compete in the open markets, & move forward with the pace of commerce with little oversight and taxation to promote progress. You make a good point. Government in the US has in large part become corrupt, and thus fails to serve common good and instead serve the ones who pay them. The healthcare debate for example.. Everyone knows single payer is the best option for healthcare in any country, yet there is only a fraction of elected officials in the US supporting that, since they need to protect the insurance companies that pay them and get them re-elected.

Well the UK is in bad shape right now, the economic crisis has hit them hard. I cant speak on all matters, certainly trust in government sank tremendously last year with the scandals regarding misuse of public money by labour politicians.

However the UK from all places I´ve heard, are quite happy with their healthcare system, if that´s what you were asking.

World government will never happen, I never understood why anyone would believe that.. The UK does have alot of cameras up all over, it started exploding after the subway bombings in London. I agree it seems to run a bit rampant, but it had a reason. As for gun control in the UK.. I dont know much about their gun laws, but I´m pretty sure they were never as open to people owning firearms as the US are. UK is sort of the bridge between Europe and the US though

I wont go into debating that stuff at depth. I dont buy the NWO stuff and I think it´s paranoid. HOWEVER, even if they would try to impose world government people would not accept it and thus revolt. The cultural gaps between all the countries in the world are too great for something like that.

I mean just look at the EU. It hardly works at all and it works poorly. Why? Because the countries dont get along, and that´s all inside Europe.

Well... The EU as a whole.. perhaps, I dont know the exact numbers. But parts of the EU does alot worse than the US. Spain for example has almost 20% unemployment. The baltic countries has suffered immense economic collapse since last year.

But my point about the EU is that it´s parliament and governance works poorly. The EU has done alot of good things, especially for countries like Ireland, Greece and Portugal, but it´s a messy bureaucracy. Needs comprehensive reform.
