A little advice: you should do some research on how to take care of african hair so your baby girl can have long beautiful healthy hair too as she grows (I have that type of hair, it tends to be drier than other types of hair so it requires a bit more care). There are some great websites and videos, I can tell you some if you want.

I can't believe how many simple minded people are paying more attention to the fact that she has 'colored kids' sitting there rather than all white kids sitting there.
