I have huge love and respect for Gavin and I am a big fan. I think he did a lovely and personal Gavin-style version but that being said- Jeff Buckley is the angel who owns my heart and soul and nothing can top that for me. Gavin has obvious love for Jeff as well...since one can tell that he is indeed doing a Cohen song but following in Buckley's footsteps with the style, especially in that end note. Gavin has amazing soul and a very powerful voice.

Hmm... Do you know it requires some skill to play piano and not sing in tempo? I bet you just listen to music and you don't play yourself, probably you have to play a instrument/sing yourself to appreciate that, maybe too advanced for you, thats why you generally just listen to pop. He places the lyric perfectly, and you never get tired of his voice, it doesn't sound the same at any time.
