I think he smokes because he says in one Cartoon Kat-tun that when he went to Paris he learnt how to ask "auriez-vous un cendrier s'il vous plaît" which means "do you have an ashtray please?" ^^ And also I think he knows how to smoke. For example in the drama "Tatta Hitotsu no koi" :) That's my opinion ^^'
