Mario is v good at what he does. But I agree, he is not yet a complete dancer. More footwork, engaging his partners and musical interpretation. They are much more difficult to Master than fancy handwork.

Once again, his hands are good, he has memorized the steps, good boy, but his feet are not moving well enough. Meet me at el rancho and I will show you what I mean ;)

I think if you wanna learn nice smooth combinations Mario is the man. But don't think you can learn body control, footwork men-styling etc. at his workshop. There are other great salsainstructors to learn from. But you gotta respect the guy he has a universal style of leading. That's something most leaders dream of. You love him or you hate him haha no middle way. But i give credit to the man. :-)

I agree, he's nice technique with hands and these moves look good, but I prefer Francisco Vazquez he's a more complete dancer with good feet and hands moves.

Come on people, be real. The ladies are pretty good dancers but this guy is stiff! Look at this feet, he has good moves with his hands, but he does not have the latin style, not rithm. You can learn to dance from a book, from videos, from a teacher, but if you do not know feel the music, you will look just like this guy, Mario.

I think a lot of people underestimate how good this guy is. All these superb salseras(including Magna) from Toronto look like "toys" in Mario's hands precisely because he is very good, and is absolutely relaxed about dancing with them. He knows the moves inside out, and does so many variations of them.
