Very cute. And, yes, holding the kittens by their scruff is perfectly harmless - as is their playfighting, all totally natural. You often find older cats enjoy having their scruffs massaged - it relaxes them and usually sends them to sleep.

Yes, although you definitely can't pick them up by the scruff at a later age! Only a few days after filming these kittens they were already too old to be carried this way.

That's good. My two older cats are still a little playful, but not nearly as playful as these kittens. I believe that playfulness in animals is a mechanism to help learn how to use ones body (same goes for humans), so is more prevalent among children. Nature doesn't program how to use our bodies exactly, rather, it provides us with a neural learning mechanism and makes us want to play. It's possible that this urge could survive late into an animals life, or even through their whole life.

Yes, they are good animals and they come pre-trained (i.e. they use a litter box without any training required). But at this age they keep you up all night by meowing and biting your feet.

Well, as they get older, they won't meow and play with your feet as much, but they do get harder to ignore when they want something.

Yea, cats can be smart to get what they want. One of my cats (when I was much younger) figured out how to use the door knocker (note: I don't subscribe to the idea of outdoor cats anymore for a variety of reasons).

Yea, they won't really hurt you when they bite you, and it is fun to play with them. But, it is really annoying when you are trying to sleep.

HA HA HA HA! Indeed, I find that Wolves are especially beautiful and I get weird looks. The truth is I would rather have a wolf around my kids rather than a pit bull, wolves are more family oriented and nowhere in history does it actually state a woldf ever attacked humans without being attacked first. Very smart animals they are.

I like wolves too. If I were to get a pet dog, I would get the most wolf-like dog I could find, I think.

Wolves are very sociable, and have been known to raise humans in the wild on at least two occasions that I know of.
