Thanks for posting this video. The way so-called "Christians" treat anyone who is just a tiny bit different from themselves is truly shameful. I myself have been heavily discriminated against by Christians due to having a physical disability, too. :(
My name is Anthony Coleman and I am 18 years old. I really want to become a preacher and start my own church. I was watching your video when you were preaching on the streets and I was wondering if you did that often? and if you did, I was wondering if I could join you in spreading the Good News? God bless you.
OK can't comment yet until I've seen more of your story on part 2, but very moving so far. thanks- honesty takes guts and it's true Christians are often crass about disability
The people who told you that you could not be a vessel of the Holy Spirit because of your disability were WRONG. I am saddened that their un-Christ-like actions drove you away from seeking God.
If I were to have met you, you would have spoken to a Spirit Filled Christian who would have embraced your desire to be a vessel through which Jesus could have flowed through.
Our infirmities are not what determine where we are in Christ, nor are they an indicator of how powerfully God can work through you. If anything, you would have been a very powerful vessel in the hands of the Lord.
Those who did this to you will stand before God and have to give an account of themselves. I do not wish to be among those who must do this, for it is they who God will tell, "Begone, for I never knew you!"
the thing is your both wrong because you both assume their is a god to heal or a god to judge. both are silly, your form of crazy is just as wacko as their form of insanity
the truth is disability is not an indication of anything
Educated Atheist, I am wondering, exactly what do you believe in? Perhaps you have bought into the evolution and big bang notion. I call it that as it did not happen that way. I equally enjoyed your commitment to denying God. That is a good starting point. That is where I once was, and He proved me wrong. Perhaps He will do the same for you.
My mother knows someone who works for Kenneth Copeland. He preaches to donate to the church and praises poverty, but he just acquired his fourth private jet. Hypocrite much?
The strange thing is that you''re ALMOST right Copeland teaches that one should give to the church. BUT he doesn't praise poverty instead he treats poverty like illness, According to Copeland Jesus took poverty on the cross the way he bore illness. when you give you plant seeds the grow in the form of a larger bank account. Then he gives people a chance to "plant seed in his ministry". but doing so people can grow rich. Well at least he does thus the air plane. like sickness is is sin to be poor
Hi Paul,, it has been awhile since I dropped you the link to my testimony. I was wondering if you listened to it.
ALSO,,, I was wondering why you can see that Kenneth Copeland WRONGLY teaches that Jesus took our poverty on the cross,,, AND you cannot see that he and others lie saying that Jesus bore our physical sickness on the cross.
It disgusts me all the time. As I say in part to religion is a disease. Sadly those who are store infect the weak and then take advantage of them. It is time that we mobilize to stop the spread of such a hideous infection
It was but that is their MO, it is how they have gained the power they have gain. I teach in an inner city school in RI. There they used the fact my kids are poor and minorities to gain control of them it is a control game. The GOOD NEWS (I used that term tongue in cheek) is that I came out of it. this is why I spend a bit of my free time trying to pull others out as well. YT has been a big help with this mission I would love to network with folks like you and thunderfoot
"All I need to do is give Jesus my CP and he would give me his health. If you were sick or disabled it was due to a lack of faith and a lack of faith is sin, so it is a sin to be sick."
That must have been torture on your self esteem.
It's just not fair how religion preys on people's self doubt and calls it faith.
There are those who wear the name Christian but have not become one. Much like a lover telling you they will love you forever, but tomorrow they tell you it is over.
I once was an atheist. Before that, I was an agnostic. While reading the Bible and arguing to God, I had an experience which I cannot quite put into words, but all of my arguments were gone, and a sudden sense of peace fell upon me.
"Arguing to God" as an atheist? How were you an atheist if your are talking to God? Atheists don't talk to God because they don't believe in God.
"Arguments were gone" I'm not trying to hurt your feelings here. And, maybe you didn't mean this in this way (pleas let me know). But when you say that all your arguments were gone you are essentially saying that you became unreasonable. Arguments are how we come to conclusions. Arguments are how we reason.

part two is already up did you see it?

Ok, I took a shorter route. I think having read the Bible in its entirety is what really demolished any faith I might have had.
