If you need an explanation than I guess you could say that His spirit is so powerful it transfers to his weapon and makes it unbreakable while he is using it. It could be technique that is exclusive to The School of the Undefeated of the East. Remember, Domon says "Ive seen that technique!" in reference to Master Asia using his head band to destroy Gundams.

Where you spin your body very fast while rotating your head at some speed to keep you head looking straight. Although you have to move your head sometime, but Master Asia is moving his head so fast that it looks like his head is not moving at all. Now the head band thing is like the Ruyi Jingu Bang, it's copy from Journey to the West. Goku uses this as his red staff in Dragonball.
