  • Subscribed you deserve it :D

  • A Comanche as a contra model? yuck...

  • I threw my helicopter against the wall when I got pissed off cause it kept spinning to the right, but then i noticed the trim wheel and fixed the trim, and after watching this vidya, shit flies good

  • @Moynul321 Nice...glad I could help in some way =).

  • It's also my first helicopter, but IDK how to get it off the ground. Do I need to charge it first?

  • I just got an Accelerator Protocol RC helicopter. :D

  • Im having some troubles. I bought a blade 120 sr in order to learn the rotor changes from coaial into collective so I can graduate to the trex series. But I can barely use my 120 anywhere! Any subtle wind outside makes it a challenge to keep a basic hover and my indoor areas are just too cramped for a 120sr, should I of gotten an Mxsr? thanks for the advice

  • Hello, just got a small one for Christmas but the battery is too short? It's a 3.7v pi-poly.

What can I do to increse range? bigger voltage?

  • der schwarze helikopter liegt sehr unruhig in der Luft, der andere sehr stabil und ruhig

  • DUDE i search for a video for small helicoprters for about 20 euros not a big ass helickopters for 200. Do you have that kind of videos

  • 1:53 We can see your lines! :D

  • hi Mikey, great video. I have a question. I just bought my first RC copter. But after a few crashes, my heli couldnt take off right. Normally it takes off vertical. But now it takes off in circular manner (the whole heli swirl in circle manner). I tried to do the trim like you showed but problem still persists. appreciate your advice...tq

  • Nice video buddy, but always put a link to next video in description

  • can this be aplied to fixed pitch aswell?

  • @MrBasketballguy11 Yeah you bet. Fixed pitch or collective helis.

  • very truthfull

  • hey I hav one helicopter and it has two set of blades i.e upper and lower but my upper blades r not working.. plz help me out..........

  • @jugalppt I definetly would love to help you out. but i never learned to use rc. i never played with em. your guess is as good as mine.

  • Thanks. Good video!

  • lol its elmo the street

  • And what do you think of iRemoco?

  • I had a rc heli but it only had up down and rudder on the other side..... What's it about, I had. 2 like that one indoor and one more expensive out door......

  • My controller broke so i bought a new one, the new one turns on but its not controlling the helicopter, its not doing anything pleasse help ?

  • @XDrizzell93 if you have a switch at the top that says "a b c" than try "b"

  • When i pull up the lever it starts rotating clockwise Now wat to do and Dragonfly is the name of helicopter

  • I have a Dragonfly it only has Back and forth and left and right

    thnx if u reply

  • @Ajroxx008 cool

  • how much are rc helicopters

  • @Thecman822 anywhere from $150 - $3,000

  • @MikeysRC loooooooooool i got one only for 20$ nad its good one ;)

  • @MikeysRC hey man my sister is 7 years old will she be able to fly the syma s107 plz reply

  • @MikeysRC if your looking for a cheap starter one, u can get one for $28

  • ?@MikeysRC united states dollars?

  • I am a beginner and I bought a Dynam E-Razor 450 carbon edition (its not my first helo, but I needed one to be able to fly outside), and I am starting to think that it was not the best choice for my skills. Do you have any tips (other than those awesome tutorials) to help me not crash it?

  • @Thecman822 I am sorry MikeysRC i will have to disagree with you...I got a very i mean very good, large rc electric helicopter for only 50$ The New 3 Channel 9060 Air Overlord Double Co-Axial Helicopter w/ LED Lights Balance Bar. I also have a 325$ rc electric helicopter and i like my Air Overlord better..Highly recommended

  • @Thecman822

    i'm always saying:

you can make it as sick as you want

if you to build your own large scale helicopter, turbine powered.

you have to pay, lets say about 1500 bugs only for the engine

its just the way YOU like it

  • @Thecman822 i got my lama v2 for 10 us dollars :)

  • @Thecman822 no actually 40-3000 dollars

  • @Thecman822 look around man, they can be WAY cheaper than 150$ depending on what your looking for.

  • @Thecman822 more like from 40$ - 3,000$

  • @blaaakaru 15-5000 you mean?

  • is the orange balls (no homo) for absorbing shock?

  • what is the stand that you are using called and how much approx

  • @PROgamingFREAKS I'm not sure what you are refering to. If it's what the helicopter was siggin on it was a small shop table covered with card board.

  • @MikeysRC I think he may mean the ping-pong ball setup you used to replace the skids. By the way, great video, very well explained, especially for beginners.

  • what is the brand of the helicopter?

  • What game are you playing, jack? those don't look like puppet hands!

  • Great video Mikey, I made my first hover today with a micro coax.

  • i'm a soldier in iraq. i have no one here to coach me, and i haven't touched one of these in 20 years, so i am starting over from scratch, solo. i have the EXI 450 with the flysky ct6b radio. got it set up ok, just a little nerevous about wiping it out. (it takes a little longer to get parts delivered here) wish me luck....

  • @throttlejockey34 EXi 450 nice! No worries practice makes perfect dont get cocky and isolate the movements of your hand. I workd on my left hand motion first then my right.

  • @ChillMood11 tragic news. i was hovering about 3 feet off the deck last night and things were going rather nice. i made a small trim adjustment and suddenly, for some unknown reason, my helicopter went into a violent counter-clockwise spin. i tried to counter, but it was no use, as it acted as if the tail rotor was in a bind. i hit the motor kill and did my best to get it down as easily as i could(almost an auto-rotation). it hit the ground tail first, snapping the tail boom and wasting a set-

  • @ChillMood11 (continued from other post) of blades, and shattering the canopy. i picked up the pieces and returned to my room to investigate. luckily, the rotor head was un-damaged, as were the electronics and main chassis. turns out the culprit was an electric jamming device on a truck was left on. oh, well. i have replacement parts on the way. thanks for the encouraging words....in the words of arnold..."I'll be back"

  • nice raptor, i bet u spent some money on that!

  • my rc helicopter is always coming backwords at the time of hover

  • @coolthegr8 Then you need to adjust the trim.

  • please make a video how to make a safer landing gear

  • where can you purchase the orange balls on plastic that you land on, how much do they cost?

  • @writenamehear xheli dot com and thay cost about $7.00

  • Sayyyyy. That person is not real!!!!!!!!

  • I wish your series was numbered so it would be easier to follow in order.

  • two persons dont like flight

  • how many helicopter you have??

  • when i hovering my helicopter just do a 360over and over again, a have a lama v3 and a 4channel controller, plz answer :)

  • @downhill9802 your rudder trim os not set right OR you have a bad gyro.

  • i go0t my 3 chanel chopper for 39 $

    ]

  • thx 4 lesson !

  • oookaaay i saw that lil puppet at the beginning and wanted to look away

  • on the pictures in the backround in the beginning, is that an F-15 e strike eagle and and AH-64 Apache?

  • I like it. Specially the doll! :-)

  • what did you use for that balls on your heli i wana put those on mine to it wont crash in ground when i land...

  • i have a falcon 40 and 4 channel i am very confudes can you mabey post a vid of helis for dummies plz

  • @ltman75 All of these videos are "videos for dummues" for 4 channel helicopters.

  • @MikeysRC what is the name of your favorite 3Dcapable rc helicoper and how much does it cost

  • @52outbound The EXI 450 from xheli.com. It's a clone of the Alighn Trex 450 but costs WAY less. TOtal cost with a cheap transmitter is about $250

  • sorry pro heli flyer bod....zz

  • i got 1 for xmas and it broke 1st day!

  • your videos are so helpful.

  • thanks

  • why does mo rc helicopter keep spinning mike ?

  • What rc helicopter is the black one at 1:47?I'm looking to buy one.

  • wats the 2 extra channels on a 6 channel helicopter

  • i have a 3.5 channel helicopter does it chnge by the channels

  • @XxLebTechxX ? I've never heard of a 3.5 channel. Yes the number of channels usually will change how they fly.

  • @XxLebTechxX whaaaaaat how do you have a 3.5 channel heli? I didnt think there were 3.5 channels in, well, any rc's.

  • i suck at landing it. when i fly it too high, i don't know how to land it softly without crashing. any help?

  • @SuperEminemBoy It just takes practice. It's the last couple inches before touching down that are really important to make sure you bring it down slowly.

  • @MikeysRC Thanks man! I'll start practicing more since I'm a new beginner! :)

  • "we will be covering hovering" :)

  • my helepoctior is from china =) but it doesnt have the left right swich in the left control =( soooo... how do i do it!! can u PM me how???

  • i can seee the script

  • all heli looks easy but its not soo be careful no matter what ;)

  • my father just gave me his cause he cant get it off the ground. itas a really cheap one from walgreens but still pretty cool. hope i can get it off the ground tomorrow

  • i tried getting into rc hellis and seen some stimulators online for 20bucks and some really nice starter helicopters for about 80-120bucks (4 channel) but people kept telling me to go to a local hobby shop... so i did as soon as i walk in there i tell him i have a 120-170 dollar budget, the idiot trys selling me a 200$ simulator with a 220$ helicopter that i seen online for less then a 100$... fuck supporting local hobby shops honestly

  • @pjerry72 ... sad ... and probably he wonders why his biz is going down. Trouble is like corner shops for that emergency carton of milk while main food list is via the supermarket, LHS literally are expected to survive on pickings, the repair bits and pieces, having NOT sold the main item - that having been bought cheaper online. I know this as I am as guilty of it as many others. We all want the LHS to be there, but economics makes us spend online. I wonder what real cost is long term ?

  • @pjerry72 ... Simulator is well worth it ... but you can get this for free : Google for "HeliSimRC" ... it's much better than the other oft quoted freebie - FMS. All you need then is a Tx with USB cable ... which most, even the cheapo Chinese clone radios have. As to heli - I bought a clone 450 same as Mikeys, but actual SE V2 ( gyro is slung UNDER tail boom) for just over $200 RTF .. complete. Barebones version $25, radio system another $90, motor / ESC about $40, gyro $20... already over $170.

  • It's normal to have like a .8 second delay on the tail rotor right? I mean from when you move the RC stick until the tail rotor starts moving.

  • @mitch4137 how so?

  • alrite pal, what did u make the stabilisers for the heli ?? i no its quite simple but jus want 2 no whats it made of ! !

  • @JusZLiMiT jus gO 2 UR local hobe shop and ax 4 a "hElecoptOr training kit" I didnt make it i jus bot it.

  • @hcoptertx SIR...Yes SIR!!! I will drop and give you 25 for my mistakes SIR!

  • @MikeysRC Just constructive, wasnt meant to come off like it sounds. Since retiring from the helicopter field, I do RC for hobby and therapy for my hand. (C-7 quad). Apologies for it sounding as harsh as it was.

  • @hcoptertx Thanks wikipedia... I wonder what my life would be like if I didn't read your useless comment. In fact, it took me away from about 5-10 seconds of the video wasted on you... shame on you, sir, shame on you.

  • Comment removed

  • @hcoptertx ... like others - thanks for the correction ... but really not needed. The guy is providing good instruction to novices and people starting to look at RC choppers ... proper terms can be learnt later ...

Even so ... i do not agree with your "roll adjustment" statement .. and I'm not a Heli-expert.

Nice to know there are experts out there ... haha ...

    Go for it Mikey !!

  • Comment removed

  • @hcoptertx .... quote : " Moving the tail side to side is not called wagging as mentioned. It is called "yaw". The " tail rotor" is not a rudder either. Its there to counteract torque of the main rotor. Adjusting the gyro as the copter is sliding to the side is a "roll" adjustment. " .... not exactly Cyclic is it ? Adjust Gyro for side movement ? Gyro looks after yaw of the tail not cyclic roll !! I don't need a b****** manual to explain what cyclic is .....

  • Comment removed

  • @hcoptertx ... you have a problem ... you ought to read what you typed before - then you will understand ...

Anyway - it's a common term "tail wagging" when gyro is not set right ... but of course you probably have another term for that ? Cyclic Yaw ?? Mikey is providing good flight instruction regardless of your need to correct terminology. I value his effort and time to make and post the vids.

As to my character, not your affair and anyway - you must be just as bad to be on here watching!

  • Hello Mikey,im still having trouble?my 450 T-rex helicopter still goes into a spin ?im trying everything,or maybe not the right way to stop this spinning, ive ajusted the trims, and the servo rod length,im sure im not the only one out there that when first starting out has had the same problem?

  • @dozermanful Try reversing your gyro "REV / NOR" switch.

  • thanks very usefull vid just got my new helle :-)

  • exactly how long does the battery last? also how long is the charge time. awesome vid

  • @spacechief101 about 7-8 minuets. Charge time is like 2-3 hours I think...been a while since I flew the heli.

  • you have sexy hands and arms. you have good nails too..do you get them done by my vietnamese mom?

  • @acenspades Funny you mention that . No actually I just stick them in the dirt at the end of the day and use some sand paper or my bench grinder to file them down. Then I go clean my cats litter box with my bare hands to make them smell nice.

  • @geo99406739 Unfortunately these batteries just don't last that long. Just buy a new one.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I am going to buy a Shark 450 II SE Deluxe 2,4GHz.

actually i dont know what The "SE" stands for can someone help me? PLIIIIIIIIIS!!!

  • Hey can u guys help me out? I bought a new RC Heli and it wont charge properly. Please help.

  • @slang989 well you are going to have to be more specific than that =). What helicopter and what exactly is the charging problem? You can also go to my website and email me directly.

  • MikeysRC - you've really gotten down to the fundamentals, I like it. I've spent over $250 on RC helis in the last 60-days. Now I can finally control them without difficulty

and loss of parts / blades, etc.! I'm jazzed to finally not be a klutz with these things which are such a joy to play with!! Who said big boys don't need toys!!!

  • is the apache, the kind i want to start with, is it a 3 chanel? is a 3 channel what a beginner should use?

  • hey my rc lost the connector buckle for the balance it wont stop spinning once on air hard to control can you tell me how to make a connector buckel my rc is JM 806 or something THNKS

  • are you talking about the battery connector?

  • the trim level on my controler wont go al the way i mean when i put it to the left it doesnt go the end its like a swith

  • hmmm not sure how to fix that.

  • The canopie wasnt all the way on do you think that was the problem?

  • no....probably not.

  • For some reason when I pushed the throttle up on mine it never wanted to hover.

  • Planning on doing a "how to" for 3D flight?

  • Yes! Definitely!

  • good video like seeing the radio hand. Can you tell me how to set up the fly bar on a walker 4# series. i would like to know more about the wights and paddles. can this heli battery be upgraded to a litho?

  • Sorry I don't have any experience with that helicopter. You could probably use a li-po but make sure the voltage is similar and be aware that lip-os are lighter so you might have balance issues.

  • love the vids...inspired me to get a E-sky lama V3.

have already got it to hover...sort of lol...need more room i think, also managed to over correct and have the 2 rotors collide causing 2 damaged and one scratched blade. must be more carefull!

    great vids!!

  • hi my 9ch rc transmitter and resiver is coming in 10 days cant wait i order 6 metal servo and lipo battery

i made the f22 from foam but i made it 3d so its more like f22 so is it good for biggener?? its going to be my first time flying a rc plane

  • The F-22 is not a good beginner plane. A high wing propeller plane is best for a trainer. But I'm sure you will have fun with it.

  • Comment removed

  • One thing I would like to thank you for the time you spend trying to teach people that are new to the heli hobby.I tryed to do these practices on my sim but kind of hard.promblem is its not like the real thing .ive been trying to learn this for a while but my helis been out of service for awhile now .after the hover part umm how do you get the gutts to even do foward flight it scary to me lol!!!.and do you build and sell the clone trex 450 for other people also or how do i buy one

  • I sell helicopters on my website.

I first started out doing forward flight with a cheaper fixed pitch helicopter. So there was less money on the line if I crashed =)

  • sorry about my comment up there ha

  • i got a 30 second hover with my mini cobra in my living room. With my sister messing around!!!

  • ya! i pass these vids, moving on to channel

  • ya got some good hovering in my backyard!

  • How come I didn't see you there? You gotta come out and fly with us. =)

  • Man! You're awsome...! a great lesson at the most important moment! I just got a walkera 4g1 heli today and it slids to right when I take off from ground... with this video I managed to fix it with some trimming... Cheers man! you're great! thank u!

  • COOL! Glad I could help.

  • i have 8827 where do i fly

  • That looks like an indoor coaxial helicopter.

  • fly your heli in a wide open space and no trees so you dont wreck it if you crash

  • @matt00harley ooo shit i wrecck in when i was trying to fly it in my home ooo shit

  • @FAIZCOOL2008 same here, i destroyed our plant (:

  • @FAIZCOOL2008 haha

  • Wow these are great lessons. I have a Wasp V3 that I'm trying to learn how to fly but as soon as I get it airborn it goes into a counter-clockwise spin. Nothing I do seems to stop it. I can't even make it spin clockwise. There's got to be something physically wrong with the copter itself, right? The tail-rotor is belt driven.

  • The problem is that your tail servo is not in the right spot. Turn everything on, then center the trim tab on your transmitter, then loosen the clamp screws holding your tail servo on the tail boom. Slide the tail servo one direction ot the other (only like a mm at a time) to see if that helps stop the spinning. Keep moving it till its pretty darn close...i.e. not heli spinning. Then re-tighten, hover the heli and adjust the final trim with your trim tab on the transmitter.

  • hey how much was that practice helicopter? and what was it called and everything lol im 13 i have a big helicopter i tried flying but it keeps breaking so i gave up but i was thinking if i got a smaller one then i could probily work my way up

  • It's an Esky brand and the helicopter is a co-axial Comanche. It costs about $90 but that include everything needed to fly and a charger and a transmitter etc.

  • I'm sorry but I'm not going to take a puppet seriously.

  • about 100

  • Yeah go for the HoneyBee. It's cheaper (at least at xheli) which means more money for spare parts. And it will probably be easier to find the spare parts at your local hobby shop too.

  • hey micky i have a axe cx micro and its very fun to fly but im trying to get a better heli like a honey bee or falcon 40 if u can help me look for a good 1 it will help me alot thanks

  • Between those two I would get the HoneyBee Fixed pitch. How much can you spend on your next helicopter?

  • im getting a heli in 2 days and its a 6 channel and its only 80$

  • WOW $80!? Which one is it? Don't try to paste a link cuz Utube won't let you . Just tell us which brand and model it is. =)
