  • he looks so healthy and alive for his age!

  • Love him! One of my favorite actors, he is brilliant. I hope he lives to 100 and beyond!

  • Lenda viva!!!

  • eli ur  great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Eli Wallach, Clint Eastwood, and Lee Van Cleef are my three favorite Western actors. Tremendous respect for all of them. Even above John Wayne. Magnificent Seven and The Good, The Bad, and THe Ugly are among my favorite westerns...also love High Plains Drifter, Pale Rider, Unforgiven, Tombstone, Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, 3:10 to Yuma....all classics.

  • @jetfreak4 have you ever seen once upon a time in the west

  • @dornravlin I have not. I will look into it.

  • @jetfreak4 its my faverit western also you might want to check out once upon a time in america also by leone hope you like it

  • I purchased the book "The Good, the Bad, and Me" ~ Eli Wallach several weeks ago at a local Library sale for $1.00 along with a few Paintings by local artists, and I just yesterday got to read the book. (on ch 10 now) and it is a very good read. Being a book collector of sorts, I bought a lot of books that didn't tickle my fancy, but this one is a masterful read that will adorn my limited bookshelf space for many, many years to come.

  • 96 anos e trabalhando,um exemplo de homem e ser humano!!!meus parabéns.

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELI!!!! May you have many, many more.

  • Nobobdy can not take his place. He has own artistic stylish character front of camera he was one of my favor actor his talk and face figure made me his fun..when this type actor getting old westerns are fade away slowly..

  • When I reach that age I want to be as sharp as Eli is here.

  • AWESOME ACTOR !!!!

  • Legend!

  • What a magnificent actor Eli Wallach truly is. Such artistry, such credibility, such talent! He brings his character to life in stunning detail. For my money, Tuco is the most difficult part to play because of his many and varied character traits. Yet, Eli pulls it off with consumate ease. A truly gifted actor indeed. He's the reason why I bought the DVD boxset containing the famous 'trilogy'. I can't praise Eli high enough -he's an absolute legend! Many thanks for uploading this video ;-)

  • Stupid director! He almost killed the actor.

  • @healer378 Also, another incident, Eli almost drank poison cause they left it by his drink.

    Sergio Leone is a heartless human being. Als one time one of his actors commited suicide, Al Mulock, Leone didnt even care about his well being, he asked someone to get his costume back.

  • i love that man....

  • he blondie i'm going kill you you bastard

  • is he from Walachia?

  • LMAO, on another documentary he said that the horse ran about a mile before he slowed down,. & Wallach had his hands tied behind his back, just imagine, LOL, & man, i'd shit my pants if I saw those steps on the train, that would've been over quick, LOL

  • Great interview, so articulate and to the point, Eli, you aged WELL!

    Great interview.

  • what a nose

  • It's wierd. He looks so different but they way he talks and acts, it's like he never aged. It's like he's still Tuco

  • I sang Ecstasy of Gold in the latest 2002 soundtrack Ennio Morricone The Good the Bad & The Ugly .I recorded April 1987 doing female falsetto and male backing vocals.I remember Eli Wallach's daughter,Paul Newman,Joanne Woodward,Nell Newman in The Effects of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds.She must be about in her early 50's by now,but played a teen cheerleader 1972 or thereabouts.

  • one of the greatest actors ever

  • Wow! What a Legend. The Great Eli Wallach.

  • He also played Mr Freeze in the Batman TV Show from 1968..

  • Tuco is the most memorable character ever to come out of the entire western movie genre.

  • "One bastard goes in, another one comes out!"

  • Tuco = The Mexican Bandit that stole the West.

  • WOOOOOOOOWWW !!!!!! he is huge on wikipedia !

  • he's aged so much...changed so much even from 1980s...in the 80s he still resembles his young looking self...but now...he's really aged a lot and looked different...but still he is very GOOD

  • Something about him, even in old age, is so compelling and touching! I don't know what it is... I feel like I want to be best friends with him or something. lol

  • How can you not have respect for this great man.

  • Eli has outlived nearly everybody...he's so awesome! I hope to be like him if i live that long.

  • Too sad he's so undarrated.

  • Great stories from a Master:)

  • Just watched him in the good, the bad and the ugly. A classic. Eli Wallach was fantastic as Tuco.

  • Tuco is immortal.

  • Eli Wallach - Best bandit ever!! His Tuco role was amazing and unforgettable!! Watch his facial expressions during his heated discussion with his brother Pablito!! Priceless!!

  • I love you, Eli !!!!

  • he still alive:0

  • love Italian-spanish Spagetti westerns my favorite director is Sergio Leone , Italian Director . Sergio Leone is one of the greatest directors to ever live. His style has never been matched .

  • Wow... he is in absolutely great shape.

  • he looks like hes in great shape for his age

  • wow, eli's sharp as hell for an old guy. He's great. His autobiography is also an enjoyable read.

  • how old now?

  • @alisub 94 or 95 and he still acts

  • @alisub like 94

  • just watched him on a movie on tcm earlier!

  • Having watched "The G,B & Ugly" about 100 times, Eli Wallach should have won an Academy Award for his performance as Tuco. My favorite scene is when Clint and Eli leave the church after Clint recovers. Tuco says, "I can always count on my brother for a bowl of soup." And Clint hands him a cigar, knowing that his brother has shunned him to Hell. Magnificent. Long live, Eli Wallach!

  • Wonderful! I always imagined Eli to be as mad as Tuco,but what a great guy.Can you imagine elf n safety permiting an actor to do such foolhardy stunts nowadays? The 60s and 70s are the way forward,otherwise we're all doomed!

  • there are two kinds of people in this world my friends ...those with good comments particularly here and those who must leave...u leave

  • I'm so glad that a legend like this is still with us :)

  • We all run with you in that cemetery, Tuco!

  • a perfect actor......

  • Had the wonderful pleasure of meeting him in 2005 as he was promoting his book. One of the high points of my life, not many people get to meet a person who starred in your all time favorite movie! I will never forget that day, he also responded to a letter I wrote while he was doing a play locally, answered all my questions about the Good, the Bad and the Ugly! Took time from his evening at the hotel to write back to me. You're a true treasure Eli!!!!!

  • @b55k57 The high point of your life is when people should consider it a high point to meet you. Still, that's pretty cool.

  • My great respect Mr Eli!! God bless you!!! I still remember the great western movies. ;-)

  • The amazing actor bad!! thank for the moment

  • Viva Tuco! Love ya, Mr. Wallach! :)

  • Now that's what I call a real "movie star" ...

  • GRANDE TUCOOOOOO!!!!

    "Mi piacciono gli uomini come te, perchè quando cadono fanno molto rumore!";

    "Quando si spara si spara, non si parla!";

    "Ehi, Biondo! Lo sai di chi sei figlio tu? Sei figlio di una grandissima.......putt... Ah Ah AAAH!.......";

    "Fissa bene la corda alla trave. Deve reggere il peso di un maiale!";

    "Vado, l'ammazzo e torno!";

    (Tuco): "Dio é con noi, perchè anche lui odia gli Yankee!"

    (Biondo): No, Dio non é con noi, perchè anche lui odia gli imbecilli!

  • The Academy really has to give Mr.Wallach an honorary Oscar....considering he wasn't even nominated for TGTBATU which was a travesty. The Oscars are really starting to bug me that they don't seem to be honoring the greats like they should especially when they are still alive.

  • @spartanpeanuts256

    I've always thought Italians might live longer because of the olive oil. It's great for your skin, so is wine and pasta.

  • he isnt italian. hes from a polish jewish backround.

  • he actually looks a lot younger.

    and he and wastwood (along with van cleef) were awesome in TGTBATU.

  • Happy Birthday Eli Wallach. December 7, 1915
