@mosharybobo You are right! When I asked for advice I just saw some video of Fender Sonoran on youtube.Few days after I was in shop and tested it...Washburn is better when you plug in amp and without amp diference is the difference is even greater,I mean Sonoran gives very bad sound without amp.So now when I tried some guitars in shops I think to buy one of these models Washburn D10DSCE, Takamine EG321C and Takamine EG260C...
i have that one!!!! i love it. the only issue i have is some finish flaking on the neck where the side of the fret board meets the the surface of the fret board. what kind of strings do you have on there?
I am an absolute newbie. I bought a "starter" acoustic, and within months, I was scoping out acoutic electrics. This guitar, the Sonoran was the best feeling neck for my inexperienced hands. I met a guy with a $2000 Gibson at a party. I had come from my guitar lesson, so I had my Fender in the car. He was VERY complimentary towards the ease of play, the craftmanship, and the sound.
how is the distance between the strings and the fretboard on that guitar? Is it nicely playable or do you have to press really hard for stuff like bar chords?
hey nice playing i just ordered this guitar in whiteish silver can't wait to get it. but just wondering does it also sound like a real acoustic when it's not plugged in the amp? thanks please respond
IF I CAN ASK: this is a fantastic BLUES, but how is the sound of Sonoran with ROCK and arpeggios???if it's not the right guitar for these genre, what guitar in your opinion is good for ROCK and similar, for example Guns 'n' Roses, Metallica, Pink Floyd and other... i would like to spend 300$, 200-250€...thnks you!
mmm...might not be for more of that kind of rock style, might want to look into something with more of a...90 degree neck...or even pure electric...if you want to stay acoustic, or semi acoustic, give the Strata-Coustic a try...might satisfy your need...but also look into a BC Rich style maybe...
I would recommend it...it's also quite durable...found that out pretty quick..
I did not compare it to the Kingman, which I've heard is also nice..I work on Mustangs, love Ford and Fender, so I bough this right from Ford Direct without even trying it...
The other regular paint Sonoran's are the same base...go for it!
I've been playing guitar for about 5 years now and I gig with a band fairly regularly, but all I have acoustic wise is a cheap Takamine and I want an Acoustic-Electric. I'm considering this... would you reccomend it?
is it fairly easy to hold bends on this guitar?? almost like playing an electric but having an acoustic sound? I'm so used to electric guitar but I want an acoustic.
My FG700S Yamaha had smooth action----and so does this model
