  • "tear trickles down his cheek as he stairs at the WoW book of memories" I don't have much of a choice "looks up at a big armor plated dragon, sorry but you aren't shit to Illidan and Lich King" BC and Wrath were the pinnacle of my wow memories. I don't get any enjoyment out of cataclysm so i'm walking away "opens the book of Guild Wars 2" Lets hope GW2 can dish out the memories of a Newb.

  • i wanna cry just remember the old days memories :(

blizzard why you killed the game? :(

  • this lacks the constant blood elf and dreanei giggles -_-

  • Shattrath and Dalarn... Why are SW and crappy Org the main cities?

  • I wanna cry!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Reminds me of Xena.

  • Shattrath and Dalaran.<3 Rip you too great cities!

  • BC was the best expansion. WoW should have ended there.

  • Aww memories, chilling in Shattrah after you and your guildies ran an instance or raid.

  • Why does that music and that land remind me strongly of 'Avatar'...? Oo

  • @nucia2 Shattrath was first.

  • @superboymettwurst Amen. ;)

  • AV queue: 1hour 12mins. /Sit and enjoy the music.

  • I feel so nostalgic right now. I'm gonna go find my self a Burning Crusade Private server and start living again for a while...

  • @Arhtass Feenix has a rather nice one, I didn't like it though, since the leveling is a whole lot faster than usual so you don't really get to experience all the leveling.

  • @thosecoldhands My friends play Feenix, and I'm just about to hit it up. What's the community like and are there many players?

  • @VeryOxygen Well, the community is pretty friendly, although I've heard alot of players has gotten kicked off the server for no reason at all, so I suppose the admins can be somewhat bitchy. There are a decent amount of players, not so many on the BC one as the vanilla one, but I'd say around 700 or so.

  • @thosecoldhands Thanks man. I'll take that into consideration. Of course, in the end, no private server can relive the retail experience of the day. But i'll look into it :)

  • @VeryOxygen Well, it's all a matter of preferences, I suppose. I didn't enjoy it because of the endgame-focus, while I wanted to go through all the questing materials once again, while alot of people probably will enjoy that to the fullest. Anyways, I hope you do enjoy the server :)

  • @thosecoldhands Hehe, I never raided end-game during BC either ;D Thanks man :)

  • TBC > Wotlk and Cata

  • shattrath was the city, to pity, i was walking around and i saw a dwarf that was round, i went to scryers to see if i got some buyers but the thing i was selling was a nice bit of jelly but when i checked it was already fecked.

  • HS set in shatt, i set it in dalaran for a while and was happy but shatt is just better :D

  • the memory remains

  • BC is gone for good, expect playing BGS on 70 lvl with wellfire epics from Tanaris

  • BC music is best in WOW, but WOW sucks because WOW is too fun and addictive like LSD and cocaine.

Games must be be fun to play - but not that much. WOW is also very bad for nerves.

  • Just sitting in Shattrath banking was always something fun and just listening to the music that was always a pleasure thanks for posting the video

  • крутая музычка че

  • Who else just sat in Shattrah for the music and did absolutely nothing but listen?

  • @AudioslaveGod YES.

  • @AudioslaveGod Yes there were a few zones where the music mesmerised you and you just chilled :)

  • bc was the best :(((

  • its so tranquil,i kinda miss how wow used to be but im happy im free now from the strange obsessive hold it had on me.

  • Atmospherically, TBC is the pinnacle. You don't get the emotional feelings in dalaran or orgrimmar that you get in shattrath. Here you have the final resistance of a demon onslaught, the last beacon of hope for countless refugees. A'dal is our savior.

  • @HazreihelUchiha

Atmospherically, you need to get a life.

  • @flavanorris well aren't you wondrous with words. Using practically the most cliche line in all of the internet since its inception. I do not see how your accusation, and your proposed solution have any relation what so ever. Perhaps you might wish to spend more time doing what you enjoy.

  • LOWER CITY, YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bc was the best

  • This video has been added to your Favorites.

  • You liked this video. We'll use this to improve your recommendations.

  • Now that WoW sucks... I'll go on to Oblivion and soon SKYRIM!!

  • @Samboychip3 DOVAKHIN DOVAKHIN DOVA SINDOS VALIN!

UNITE MY BROTHER! MEHRUNES DAGON HAS FALLEN AND ALDUIN AWAITS!

  • @TxtACRowetxT Wah dein, vokul mafaeraak ahst vaal, ahrk fin norok paal graan, fod nust hon zindro zaan, Dovakiin fah hein, kogaan mu draal!!!!

  • CLANG. CLANG. CLANG. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. CLANG. CLANG.

  • God dam it Blizzard i wish they would make servers for people like us the wonna just go back to Vanilla/TBH thows were the days god dam it i hate Cata i loved the idea for Wrath Of The Lich King but it wasnt that gr8 tbh Wrath started to ruin it then cata came along to finish the fight and now WoW really dose suck i only liek the fact i can fly my Nether drake in Azeroth thats all i like about it

  • @FatScotishguy Hint: private servers.

  • @raidwipe Iv obv tryed this i dont like it its not go the same feel to it

  • @FatScotishguy That means you're suffering from "Nostalgia".

  • @raidwipe I think your 100% right tbh

  • What I love most about the music is you can here the whispers of the Draenei lost souls who perished when the Orcs conquered the city. The whole track is depressing, as it should be. It shows you the composers worked very hard syncing the lore with the music.

  • @Dirkasnivs I dont hear any whispers

  • so nostalgic...

  • Still hatin', eh?

  • tbc>vanilla>cata>wotlk

    TBC was epic awesomness!

    Vanilla was crazy fun!

    Cata was decent

    Wotlk was sheit

  • I LOVE YOU BC...

    BRING BACK MEMORIES

  • @K0tsioscy Me too. Best expansion.

  • TBC is best datadisc in wow ... cataclysm and wotlk are sucks

  • Shattrath was the most epic city in the whole game, if you ask me

  • I miss when WoW was new to me.. Everything felt so awesome! I'll never forget exploring Azeroth as a noob.. and flying for the first time in Outland... Sadly, the novelty has worn off now... but it has left me with many great memories... and one permanent gift... I met my boyfriend of over 2 years now thanks to this game. :)

  • Omg guys really?! If you think that wow sucks THAT MUCH just quit and stop complaining about every single thing! I remember in WOWLK people were like: "Omg I'm sooo excited about Cataclysm! This Wrath expansion sucks!" Nowadays those SAME people are saying: "Omg Cataclysm sucks! Wrath is WAY the best expansion!"..Really what the fuck is that?! If you don't like it just quit a spot complaining...Its a freaking game not your dam life! Enjoy the game and don't stress about it

  • Ah, Shattrath. Falling off the Aldor lift before having a flying mount and going splat on the ground. Good times :)

(still my favourite city in all WoW)

  • LF8M for kara.

  • In the end BC and WotLK were all beautiful! I miss them all! ;/

Listening to this music makes me feel sad... I will always remember the time of Dalaran and Shattrath! ;)

  • my favorite major city of them all plz make shat live again blizz

  • You like this video. Thanks for the feedback! See more videos you liked.

  • You dislike this video. Thanks for the feedback!

  • WotLK dungeons were easy.. the raid content was not.

Try getting the Light of Dawn Pre-4.0.1 and then tell me Wrath was easy.

  • @Makentz raid content was hella easy. maybe the Lich King himself was a bit on the difficult side. but it's all still facerolling. plus Wotlk, blizz got lazy with designing gear, it all looked the same, and ugly.

  • Going TK. Invites starts in 5 minutes.. ahh, good times..

  • I love that WoW went downhill....Now i have a life again, and I get all the WoW pleasure I need listening to this music while i study

  • @vvbn7890 join the club of studying whilst listening to wow music ^^

  • @vvbn7890 Wow did not go down all, Your probably one of those scrubs who QQ on the forum because heroics are to hard and that you can not face roll raids like how you did in wotlk.

  • @story121 Wow, such hostility. Actually, I had played since Vanilla, raided in Vanilla, played BC, and raided, and I quit in WotLK because of the face-roll factor, and deterioration of the community to arrogant degenerates like yourself, creating baseless claims in an attempt to argue with people for no reason.

You can continue to love it, and feel cool for posting the way you do - I'll be fine, away from WoW, with my opinion intact. Now go back to your cave, troll.

  • @vvbn7890 The level of intellect that you have putt into this message hurts my brain.

  • @story121 I'm not surprised. Good day.

  • @story121 Are you serious? Cataclysm heroics are easier than Wrath heroics, the only difference is that they're far less enjoyable. Perhaps healing is kind of harder, but not really. People go into heroics one they hit 85 in greens and do just fine. Cata is a joke, and it's no harder than Wrath. People only have the illusion that it is because we had to use CC the first week of the expansion before they silently nerfed all of it.

  • @darkwoodmovies Yep. I agree. If anyone even dares to say that WoW is better than ever, i'll rip their heads off.

  • @DeterminationForever Go ahead and try it. Wow is better in many ways, not all of course. Hopefully the next xpac will fix Cata's screw ups (shared lock-outs for example)

  • @vvbn7890 <3

  • @vvbn7890 Tbh it shows you have no will power to tell your self when and when not to play WoW

  • @FatScotishguy American Psychiatric Association is debating right now on whether or not video game addiction is a mental issue like gambling or alcoholism. There are a lot of people addicted to this game, and most of them are in denial - that much I can assure you.

I've got a strong will, but this game sucked me in worse than anything I've ever dealt with in my entire life. Its a wonderful game, but dangerous for me. Judge if you like, i am man enough to be open about my weaknesses.

  • @vvbn7890 I respect you for the pure fact you can say you had that weakness I know what you mean WoW to me is a place that i can go to and just be there for aslong as i like but i get bored of the game after a while i dont really play it much anymore since it changed It really was a fun game if thats what you liked it really was another world

  • @vvbn7890 Complete and utter bullshit. Studies at the dutch psychiatric institution that accepted "videogame addicts" showed that they were nowhere near the same kind of addiction as the other people they treated. The ones that were admitted there were let go very rapidly because there was simply nothing to treat.

  • @Reyson01 Those are findings from one institution. It must be done, across more boards, and larger samples to have a definitive answer. I don't know if its a real sickness or not - I don't care. The effect it had on me was very real, and thats a point you cannot argue against. I've dealt with it my way, and I have been successful since....All the proof I need.

  • @vvbn7890 Some people are more susceptable to addictions than others. If you know you are like that, ward yourself off from possible addictions.

I've played WoW for about 4-5 years and the only thing that makes me want to play are my friends. When they play less, I get bored really fast or stop altogether.

  • @Reyson01 Well thats exactly what I am saying. It might be "complete and utter bullshit" to you, but the former is the effect it had on me, and thus why I made my statement about it being addicting, and how my life is better now because I have been able to overcome it for the most part and not play.....I just listen to the music now ;)

  • @vvbn7890 I am glad for you and anyone else who has done the same. I used to really be into it back in TBC. Wow is one of those things were if you think you are playing too much, then you most likely are. I realized that and had to stop. Now I only play a couple hours every few months.

It might just be me getting older, but the game does not have the draw it once did. I quest and do some dungeon runs and think "Yeah really need to go do something productive now."

  • @vvbn7890

Same here. My interest in WoW started declining as soon as WotLK hit. Being a Warcraft lore nerd I really wanted to see the xpac through and kill Arthas. Deathwing though has no meaning to me, I have no want to kill him and the game itself has changed so much from what I first loved about it.

I can come here, get my fix of music and reminisce about the good ol' days then go on with my life that this game stole for so many years.

  • @lastplacewin I hear ya 100% dude. Glad you were able to get your life back too. Love this game, but its dangerous for some people. Good to hear others like me were able to get away.

  • @vvbn7890

I, like yourself and millions of others out there, get such a deep emotional stir when I hear this music. So many good memories float back. My first time in Karazhan I will never forget. But, at the same time, I neglected a lot of my real life and my real life friends for something that, at the end of the day, is pretty much fruitless.

It was great while it lasted, but I got away and am glad it's now only a fading memory!

  • @vvbn7890 WoW didn't go downhill.....it is good now

  • @Reloading26 Opinion. I liked it better before TBC and Wrath. Some people like it better after.....Opinion

  • This is an epic tune from an epic expansion!

TBC was an awesome. The PvE content in it was really nice and rewarding. WotLK was just pure downhill with its "facerolling through every dungeon attitude". Cataclysm seems to offer more interesting PvE content once again...wheee!

  • Bc was awsome, Wrath was for the casual player, Vault was BS

  • Vanilla and BC - awesome, WotLK was Good at start, Naxx and Ulduar.... Cata? Meh, cancel sub.

  • @RodaZab cata is way better and way more of a challenge than any of the other expansions. but TBC still beats it by far.

  • Freakin' JUSTIN BIE... oh wait, 0 dislikes ;o!

  • Wrath and BC ftw! :P.

    Cata is kinda crap.

  • @CorvetteBG Wrath was complete shit!

  • @lolatmyaccounts Yh but the DK's quests at the beginning are awesome.

  • @CorvetteBG All the beginning quests now are good.

Wrath was the worst expansion, the effects of wrath are still in the game (EG. many bad plays who want free epics)

  • @lolatmyaccounts Yh, but also, 3 months ago, i was a noob, and i didn't have a flying mount, now i have the flying mount which i can use everywhere, so yh true, now i like cata more, but i kinda like wrath because of the DK and stuff.

  • @lifeeconomics812 niether am i, i can't log in to my 85 or alts without thinking...WoW is dead to me, i can't get any enjoyment whatsoever, im just coming here, trying to understand how awesom BC was, i came in the day Lich king was released...i miss northrend :(..and i wish i knew what BC feels like, Catacylsm just isn't doing it for me, i can't play the game anymore, no more enjoyment.

  • @lifeeconomics812 Consider yourself lucky then and get your life back.

  • @lifeeconomics812 Very well then, just quit and dont even complain about it anymore, not even here. It's as simple as that.

  • @ThePackagedMeat NO they will ruin it as it is.

  • @lifeeconomics812 you cant describe the feelings i've had with awesome TBC. But recalling the past sucks when it comes to nostalgica. Stop it and enjpy Cata, which is so fucking awesome. If only it had slightly better music. Which isn't bad at all either.

  • An impossible expansion would make high-level players come back to Outland. Outland is dynamic, which would make for a perfect new dungeon/zone/remodeling/enhancement/enlargement. And why can't we have an 83+ zone in Outland?

  • Spent so many hours lagging from place to place in this city!! Haha ahh man the music takes me back...

  • haha gotta remember porting there, and just hearing a netherdrake

    "raaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!"

  • best 2parts of BC. Shattrah city(Which i go back to every few days to drink in the beauty) and Karazhan(Which i try to go to as much as I can)...<3 I miss kara!!

  • I disagree I think northern and dalaran was just as epic and the new city for cata will be just as epic can't wait

  • I remember first day of BC... I went with my priest to Hellfire Peninsula... and I was like:"OMFG! THIS IS EPIC!" when seeing the Door of Destinies... then my guildmates told me:"Hey, went to a mushroom marsh, and then head south, there is a capital." So I went... then, after few seconds in Shattrath, it was even more epic than any moment I have experienced in WoW before... I mean, first visit to Northrend was not epic... it was atmospheric, but not stunning. The same for Dalaran.

  • @MrNarim true, although how was logging into new orgrimmar like? FUCKING AWESOME Wasn't it!!!!!

  • @sonicfan7 well... I don't play anymore, so I have to wait or listen to Youtube :P but sure, new org is pure awesomeness... but I like Stormwind more :D

  • good old bc times...

  • I still think it's a bigger deal when my alts make it to Outland. getting to the Northrend zeppelins barely warrants a shrug, but I always kind of soak in that last moment in the Blasted Lands before heading into that portal.

    man, I miss Karazhan.

  • nice to see some people remember what a good game wow has been

  • Yeah, I did say that. durring earlier days of BC I didn't feel like I was having alot of fun, but then I got into a decent raiding guild and loved it. What I meant was that in comparison in Wrath at the time, BC had so many more things to do. The content was more difficult and things took time to complete. Durring my time in Wrath I felt the content was conquered too quickly. While going back to BC may be boring because I've done it already, it was the design of it that I miss.

  • Those BC days, everyday b4 logging out I would spend 1 hour or more sitting at Aldor's Bank listening to Shattrath music. BC was amazing, the raids, places, dungeons, etc... I hope I can feel that way again in Cata.

  • I MISS BC :(

  • Sounds a lot better without the clashing of swords and goats laughing

  • I need a Shattrath fsjal, right NAO. >=(

  • i think since having a lvl 80 is kinda busy in terms of having raids or friends to accompany... it would be easier to lvl an alt up to 69 or 70 maybe & just have him stay in outlands to do all the lore & dungeons... cause this place is so beautiful...& along with the music is even more .. what an incredible mind whoever thought of this place & kind of world

  • I remember being lazy, waiting for my friends Bill and Judy to log on so we could do our daily heroics. I miss this place so much. =(

  • beginning is epic

  • It's really too bad that cities like Shattrath are all but abandoned since Wrath. I'm glad that the new expansion will revamp and revisit old areas....the whole game is worth playing, not just end game!

  • I now hate the fact that now that EVERYONE goes to Dalaran (Which causes a lagfest) that now NO one goes to Shat anymore :( well.. at least on my server... (Bronzebeard: Orc DK Ferdok)

  • @TKmallet its because of the fact that dalaran is more convieniet (sorry if spelled wrong xD), it is in Northrend, right by ICC, RS and other raids, it has portals to every city in the game, etc, theres just no reason to be in shatt unless your questing anymore

  • @ilikechiken72 I go to Dala all the time, but much rather go to Shat instead, just an opinion.

  • @TKmallet not to mention, for some reason I think it may be the cities, not the players that cause lag, it may have to do with how both sides can be there without fighting, because shatt lags for me even without people there

  • Great one! Thanks for uploading.

    Stonex

  • laggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

  • Does anyone know what the wind instrument used to play the main parts of this music is called?

  • @Nagoragama its an indian flute made from bamboo called a bansuri flute. Its a haunting sound.

  • Smoke some pot, listen to this and you really feel like relaxing on lower city's grass... (you'll smoke that too later)

  • @gdevil4 Smoke Felweed instead.

  • @neglesaks lol...

  • "clank, clank, clank, clank iiiiah, clank ahahahahahah,,,hahahahah" .... no.

  • Shat was the ultimate place to chill, I would log in to the Inn at Aldor and then fly around for a bit. Check ma bank and shit. Go to the bird people in the lower city place to make some potions. Maybe stroll up to the Battle Master do some PvP, maybe take the portal to IF or Ilse of Quel'Danas. Those were the days.

  • @doritos180 I agree man. Good thing, 4.1 brought back ports in both Dala and Shat, so you can hang around there again. :D

  • the artwork and music in tBC is way more creative and interesting than WotLK imo.

  • this music reminds me of when i was doing my nether rep and spamming my professions. and just chillin in the bank or waiting for a raid to form. god how i loved gruuls and mags, 40 mins to form, 10 minutes to kill all mobs/bosses. thats with no wipes either.

  • I miss the time without lags in dala....

like shat the game was there never laggy and this city was much greather in relation to dalaran...

  • OOOOH WOTLK BEST EXPANSION STFU NOOBS!!!!!!!!!!!

lol jk jk... i just like the music

  • Yeah TBC was hella fun, and I miss it, but I am still enjoying LK (as a PVP player). To be honest I reckon Lich King is more balanced than TBC.

  • WTB BC realms :/

  • I seriously cannot wait until Cataclysm comes out and everyone starts posting about how horrible it is and how amazing Dalaran is on the Wrath music pages.

  • @sia3226 lmao ya XD

  • That sound brings back memories with my shaman :*(

Miss tbc so much ... <3

  • Gief TBC back! :(

  • Makes me miss TBC so much, WOTLK everything went downhill, people pugging ICC25 is just pathetic

  • yah mon... TBC was the bomb..TBC R.I.P

playing a lvl 70 twink up just to expiriance all the good ol raids...

    ZA i miss ya mon!

  • yep, burning crusade owns. I loved shattrath, dalaran just sucks. In shattrath its a chill settting whereas dalaran is so bright and disclosed, shattrath is gloomy and open, you feel more free there.

  • This place... is now deserted...

  • shattrath due to its calm music is much better than dalaran with its gay-ass music and gay dressed mages thruout

  • Fuck!!I always was going on the wrong bank first...Scryers ftw,Aldor rewards sucked!!

  • i dont play wow anymore, im just waiting for Mortal online, but does anyone checked if Shattrath is deserted? these place used to be flourished with players.... i wonder now?

  • @Baldoxxx4000 it is pretty much deserted, I see alts there from time to time. Dalaran is the new big city and is smaller than Shatt, and much more "crowded" or so it seems.

  • Unfortunately, apart from a few loyal (RP :P) Aldor and Scryer followers - or people who simply prefer Shattrath - the city is much deserted. WHen Patch BT came there was all this NPC whining about Illidan... What became of him? Has he gone to sleep or what? :P

    //LadyAelys

  • Also this score is brilliant, really captures the struggle in Outland, and the battle between aldor and scryers, what do we have now in Dalaran, some triumphant bollox music.

  • 100% true that WOTLK has spoiled this game. THe areas, the raids, the content of BC was immense. Now u need to spam (easy) heroics to get full tier 8. Its pointless, i remember when u had to power heal a heroic in BC, and kara is still the best raid. This music ^^ is also best on game ty cya.

  • LK PVP isnt so bad (although TBC PVP was far superior) but I have to agree that TBC PVE completely owns LK PVE. You can appreciate Blizzard trying to get more people into raiding, but the content is too easy. People pugging 25mans, mindlessly spamming AoE without need for CC, it just isn't the same anymore.

  • ya they sweem to have gotten rid of CC now i think its cuz theres too much dps in the game now with dks

  • man I remember visiting shattrath after a good night of raiding, so relaxing is the background music.

I don't play WOW anymore but I would be lying if it is going to stay that way.

  • your*

  • Dalaran look like a fucking dool house TBC was the best expansion

  • The thing that sucks dick about shattrath is that it has a lot of empty area that they just didn't use. It is big for no apparent reason.

Also feels way too depressing, don't really like that vibe.

    Have fun downrating me.

  • I won't downrate you, I simply disagree hehe. Shattrah is one of the best big cities in wow, the music, the atmosphere, the looks and the whole scryer - aldor thing was just awesome! Dalaran is shit!

  • @c0mbineelite that is so that there arent heaps of characters in one space and there are no players standing on other players: they also have portals so u can go back to orgrimmar or ironforge when needed

  • I do understand that. But it still doesn't change the fact that shatt has a lot of space where nobody went. The concentrations of people were like the main hub area, the banks, and the lower city.

  • Imagine you can live in this kinda world, I can see it will be full of adventures. Sadly its only fiction and fantasy

  • @DavidForce well some mushroom could fix that.. ;)

  • is it just me or do u ppl also find this music more - indian like , u kno i dont mean indians from india talking about the american ones

  • i miss shat DOWN WITH DALARAN!!

  • @stridren pun intended?
