  • I'm very glad to dispute with such clever people who are wiser than Johann Sebastian Bach.

This "ideological mistake" is not "only" the point of the lyrics and the subject of the piece, the subject of everything what the whole piece is about, but this "mistake" is the base of the structure, the creater, organizer of every bar, the power, which makes this music coherrent and true. This music doesn't work without this "mistake"- without God. If you don't feel it, you know nothing about music.

  • No sorry it's our duty as atheists to fight with education to cleanse all music, history and life of the influence of religion. We have to change meanings and to change interpretations, and when it's not possible, we should clearly state those mistakes and the lies beneath them. And finally we have to note whatever reason they wrote it, we don't care; it's our interpretation which must model the music they made with ideological errors.

  • @maricahn : Try Hitler as the historic destroyer of religions, A, B, and C !

  • Wipo, Luther and Bach wrote all of their works to God and all of them said everything is about God. And now you, you, you come and say, it isn't????!!!! What do you think, who the fuck you are?

  • @620Super182 : Now that is not a very gentlemanly thing to state !

  • What are you speaking about, you idiots? If this lyric is not about God, what is it about? You may not believe of course but, who says, there is no God in Bach's music, must be a sick, stupid idiot, nothing else. This melody origins to one of the medieval sequences "Victimae Pascali Laudes" a work of Wipo, the famous christian poet of the milleneum. Martin Luther wrote a paraphrase to this theme, and Bach wrote his Cantata on the choral of Luther, based on the ancient sequence.

  • FUCK YOU GOD believers. Would you please leave your children tales out of Bach's videos, seeing you can't fucking leave them out of Earth?

    I feel you're a disgrace to Bach's music.

  • @maricahn I don't believe in God either, but would you please be respectful towards those that do? Atheists who try to start arguments, and debate at every opportunity give atheists as a whole a bad image. I know it feels like there are references to God pretty much everywhere, and where there aren't, people just add them, and that's irritating, I know. But getting angry about it is counterproductive. Thank you. :)

  • @maricahn : A considerable amount of bottom smacking awaits you when you get home tonight !

  • contrapunto !!!!!!!!

  • God speaks through Bach's music

  • @vivascargillYES my friend, you are absolutely right, Bach touches my human spirit and in my spirit I worship God when I listen to JS Bach, Praise the Lord!, it has always happened to me since I was a boy. As matter of fact I sang this cantata when I was in University in a Choir festival in Chile. If God speaks must be in harmony as Bach composed his music, so anyone can understand and most of all enjoy it.

  • @Jimmyocaca No that you said is nonsense I think you should attend psychiatric help so that you stop believing in God.

  • Awesome! The sound quality is so good! (I can hear the bass voices)
