i totally agree with drew barrymore, although she was being ripped on E about her hair.  I thought it looked marlyn monroe chic but messy.. I love it when girls do their hair, everyone always wears it down and crappy.. why wear a beautiful dress if your not going to do your hair.

I did not even know he was dead untill way after i had seen the movie, i had never heard of him before so. And i was so impressed by the movie it raised from a two star movie like tha first one to a five star. So yeah he should have won even if he had not died!

yea, how the hell does a supporting actor in a drama in made-for-tv movie equally contend with a supporting actor in 30-minute comedy. Absolutely ridiculous category.

I was so happy that Kate Winslet won the Best Actress Award. Love her and her speech. The beginning was rough, but it was so authentically real and perfect in every way.

Go see Slumdog Millionaire. I have seen it twice. Great movie. I might even go see it again.

it's so spooky how we picked up on exactly the same things. Billy Ray's look at Jonas bros., gum, do you think Robert Downey was on "drug gum" though?, I think Sascha was a little off, but Ricky Gervais was hillarious. just my opinion. I totally agree as well with that stupid category of movie and tv supporting actor together.

I was beyond thrilled Kate won both categories, and her speech was sooo adorable! I agree that Heath would have gotten the award if he had not passed, his acting was some of the finest acting I had seen all year and if he didn't get it I would seriously questions the HFP. Great recap though, helps those of us that were not lucky enough to catch it and just read the winners.!

I thought Drew Barrymore looked DRUNK. I didnt understand a few of the dresses. JLO looked like Golden Cellophane and Rene Zellwegger looked like she bought a nice skirt and then made a top from a curtain. Entourage so important? i dont think that Heath would have gotten the Golden Globe (and the oscar hes probably gonna get later) because there were better people acting this year, but because he died so suddenly and tragically, people are exaggerating how good he was.
