A. They weren't "muted"... the position of the mics was different and it was hard to hear them. It was live... little hard to magically mute out just boos while producing a live feed. Plus, generally speaking, the media enjoys stuff like that... since that's what attracts viewers.
B. I don't care what the man did, it's just down right childish to boo him, and extremely wrong. I'm sorry, but folks need to grow up.

Most of them seem to be young people. They have no respect. Young people these days have no idea of war, George Bush did. His father was a war hero who fought in a real war, as my father did. We who lived through the cold war and threat of nuclear anihilation appreciate peace. I just hope Obama does too. Clinton and Bush were great leaders who bought us a century of peace unlike the leader of the previous century whose hands are drenched with blood. George was truly a man of God.

beba. A lot of what you say is correct. Many leaders call on God and then send their men into battle. I don't like this either. Armies even have lots of padres etc. attached to them. I disagree that Bush loves war. I am sure he hates war. His own father was a highly decorated war vet, and so he is well aware of the effects of war. The War on terrorism is a result of the people baying for blood after 9/11. They even wanted nuclear strikes! How soon people forget what it was like then.

beba. I have a completely open mind and am always willing to learn new things. My father was badly wounded in WW2, his brother was killed on my father's birthday, and four other uncles fought in WW2. Any of these men and me also are absolutely opposed to war. They would all respect anyone who refused to go on moral grounds. I honestly think that Bush is a decent man. I was never so sure about his father. I do like Barbara though, and think she is a good person also.

I did have a ticket, but I watched the events on a jumbotron just like the vast majority of the1.8 million other people there. You know where you had to be "invited?" To a Bush event, where dissention was NOT allowed.
