I charge my controllers by setting my Ps3 to 2 hours shutdown. After I'm done gaming, I plug the bitch in and go to bed. I don't really see the point in this thing other than making it look cool : /

I've got this pelican charger which worked great for my sixaxis controller, but doesn't want to know when I plug the dualshock in, light comes on red then goes straight to green and won't charge at all, there's stuff on the net that suggests the pelican charger is corrupting controllers, anybody know what's causing this problem ?

i use this thing everyday and it works fine with my dual shock 3's also. contacl Pelican and tell them the problem maybe they can replace your unit if necessary

Yes, you can just charge it with a USB cable directly to the PS3.
