Fantastic work! I never tried to make my facial animations with this method, because i thought it was very difficult. I use maya, and i make the facial animations with bones and clusters, but i think your method has more control on the results.. Congratulations!
The Monster House Was Great I Have It! But never realized how much work it take to make it and now i appriciate it wayy more. Dont know how to thanks you it really means alot
is there any chance you can point me in the right direction for learning that type of facial rigging. I currently just create blend shapes for the eyes, mouth and eyebrows etc, but your method looks so much flexible, being able to shift the skin around with curves. great work!
ahh right, so you connect the blend shape value to the xyz value of the controllers etc? Does this apply to the tongue as well? Thanks for explaining this! most people would just ignore my comment :)
A great piece of work, shows people how hard the rigging and animation field really is, I like to appreciate that, being a hard surface modeller I dont dive into rigging too much.
Again, great work, thanks for the progress view as well.

I also use Blendshapes, but I made controllers and connected it to the blendshapes. If you also use Maya, you can make it with 'set driven key' ,
I made many blendshapes, like skin up, skin down, and gave it a controller... The cheek has a bone.. I hope i helped you out :)

you need to accent the eyes on "And now." Its a hard delivery of that line and should get that with the eyes.
