Not a dog more adorable than a bichon in the world! I found my baby girl as a puppy outside at 2 AM one winter night, tied to pole on half a leash in the middle of nowhere without enough slack in the leash to rest her head, left to die. I took her home washed her up (God knows how long she was there) and that very night, she slept on my pillow as I stroked her belly for hours. Besides my wife and kids, my two rescued friends (cockerspaniel, too) are the best things that ever happened to me.

It's caused by dyes found in dog food. We had the same problem until going to Newman's organic dry food. Took care of the dark staining around her eyes and the yucky dark staining around her mouth. We get it at our Walmart, or check online for stores that carry it near you. It can be hard to find, but worth it. It also doesn't have corn or wheat which bichons can develop allergies to which are what most grocery store dog foods are made with.

Around 3 years old. I think at about this age bichon's begin to mature because I have seen a real change in his behavior around other dogs, he seems more aware. But he is still heaps of fun when we play at home lol!

The main thing to do is just ignore this, i am assuming it is a puppy. You need to put it in a place where it cannot harm itself or damage your things. Your bichon will adapt and get used to your lifestyle, it just takes time.

@eduarin i also have a Bichon and she never cries when I leave. 20 minutes before you leave ignore him completely (no eye contacts) then leave. give him a toy or something to get him busy while you're away. When you come home don't greet him or give him attention for a few minutes.

Lol he isn't really naughty its just a joke. A fact about jamie, his parents were shown at crufts and jamie was supposed to be a show dog but his jaw was a fraction of a millimetre out of line, other than that he is a perfect breed.

His jaw saved him from a life of boredom and no fun imo.
