People have entire webpages dedicated to how terrible it is! It just crashed on me yesterday. I couldn't open anything, and had to revert back to 9.04, which is way more stable. I blame most of it on PulseAudio (which isn't ready yet, and causes glitches in applications), and the "faster shutdown time", which causes data to be lost and files corrupted. Plus, 9.04 just works, while 9.10 requires a whole bunch of workarounds to get audio working.

@josephschwenker Uhmmm really ubuntu 9.04 is more stable ... sometimes ubuntu 9.10 crash ... i think that the guilty are the Extras restricted because when i used work with java app or see flash movies this crash

The audio work (to me) fine without working ... i think that if you support the free SW ... don't say thinks that can scare new people in the community ... win7 is worse

Hey! I can say whatever I want! I had a TERRIBLE experience with 9.10, and pretty much everyone agrees about that. If I am doing anything, I am helping Ubuntu users from thinking that Ubuntu is bad by stopping them from using a bad release. 9.10 is just TERRIBLE. PulseAudio is just not ready yet.
