  • i have this problem before but i have your solution:

go to google and put pro-.pinball timeshock megaupload and go here:

    pro-pinball-timeshock 1-CD - SnesOrama

  • Looks like I'm not the only one missing the sound track on his copy... Does anybody know how to get them in the game again?

  • i did the voiceover for this game so nice to see and hear it played well

  • i have the original version with the musical score as cd and image. when you ever played this pinball you never want to play another pinball game (except other pinball tables from pro pinball). even the newest one feel like crap and you want to go back to timeshock. its a shame they didnt continue to make tables :(

  • @adsci That basically happened because the developers, ade and champie, were mad pinball fans who I believe collected physical tables at the time. They basically took the attitude of taking as long as it took to produce the best possible simulation. Unfortunately modern publishers don't tolerate that so much.. I believe that the GOG.com version has the music as digital files which play more reliably.

  • The Pro Pinball series is the best simulation of electronic pinball you can play, ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD! Even now, in 2011, for simulations that were made back in the 1990s, they have yet to be beaten. I have the whole series, that I bought back in the 90s. 'The Web' Timeshock, Big Race USA and Fantastic Journey. All are in perfect working order with full music scores too. All tables are in FULL 3D and so colourful. I have loaded all of my Pro Pinball titles onto my Toshiba netbook.

  • I have the whole series of Pro Pinball, including this one. They work like a dream with FULL MUSIC. The Pro Pinball series are the BEST PINBALL SIMULATIONS THAT YOU CAN PLAY, ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD! Even for pinball simulations that were made back in the 90s they have yet to be bettered or beaten by anything now. I have loaded all of my Pro Pinball series onto my Toshiba Netbook. They work like a dream and it is like owning my very own full scale minature pinball machines on my netbook.

  • @jutjub22 Cool. So u are "The Grand Champion" XD

  • @jutjub22 Hehe yeah,.This is really good pinball, it is possible to get more billions, just need to control the ball better...

  • I play sometimes Timeshock! and I love it!

Is the best pinball for pc ever made.

Gameplay and story are wonderfoul, i like to starting exploration and collect the awards, but i hate level 3 and 4 of video mode.

  • the f'in best pinball game ever! and this is from 1997! Amazing

  • This is one of the best pinball games out there. However I played Fantastic Journey more.

    Btw, check gog. com

They sell them at a very resonable price and they work on Windows 7.

    6$ for the game.

  • the music here ruled. i hunted down this game after 10 years just for the music!

  • You do know about Lane Change, right?

  • CAN U PLAY IT ON WIN 7??

  • yes you can. No problem, I do so.

  • So sad that there are versions of this great game without music. The music is really great!

  • Chances are he has turned them off.

  • Sorry i mean quitars music is one part of these games.

  • Tip: if you want to get dawn Of Time you must collect all tachyaminum (i don t remember that name) for predictstone age ancidents rome the present day and the future all crystals to go there. Second ip: if you want to oppen mystery you must get triple jackpot or jackpots for time machine frenzy and the second for time warp frenzy ( but you only need one to go the mystery) oh and i think those ball goinig out for mystery game or the dawn of time good music is these games (not big race usa).

  • @petrus450 In order to get the Dawn of Time, one must get all four crystal fragments and three Tachyonium. The Unknown requires all eight.

  • I have it. ITS AMAZING. found it in my fathers old cd box. WIth music. It runs on Windows Vista and on 7. but you have to skip some german warnings......

  • I need to break this game out again. Does it run on XP? I don't think I've even tried to install it on my last 3 machines. Not sure why, the PP games are amazingly realistic.

  • Oh yeees, it sure does run on XP. ;)

  • How to record timeshock gameplay, i have used Taksi, Fraps, BB Flashback exspress, camstudio and gamecam, nothing works...

  • hypercam

  • This game is one of the best, if not the best pinball simulator for PC ever. Never got my hands on The Web, but i have BRUSA and FJ too and Timeshock just beats them. No other developer have made a pinball anything like this series. Sierra's 3D Ultra Pinball is fun, but not a simulation.

  • @InjectedWithAPoison Of the 4, The Web is at the bottom of the list, so you're not really missing much.

  • I've bought this game in a version attached to a games magazine, but, like in this video, the game is without music (that should be contained into the original CD).

There's a mode to get the music with the game? Reply please! Thanks!

  • I never had music in this pinball :)

  • The music is on the CD in CD-AUDIO format. Check your cables.

  • No... The music isn't in the CD, I've also putted the CD into my stereo, there's only the data track.

  • Aaaw, what a ripoff. They did this to me with Forsaken. I mean how you can fully enjoy eithher of those games without original soundtrack? Those magazine guys should know better.

  • @InjectedWithAPoison

The thing I remember about Forsaken, was that I bought it on sale, for 20 bucks, and it included the Orb 360 game controller. That was back in 97 or 98. I sold the game controller on ebay for over 300 dollars back around 2002 or so.

  • You are right - there are versions out there WITHOUT music (without CD tracks).

  • @cdemusix

I don't know how anyone would not have music in this one. There are four tables made by this maker, I have three of them. I have TimeShock!, Big Race USA and Fantastic Journey. I bought them online, so i have an account where I can always download them. If you message me, I'll help you out and let you go on my account and download them. Just don't mess anything up!

  • @cdemusix

message me and i will give u three of the four tables with music and everything. i have big race usa, fantastic journey and timeshock! im messing The Web, but whatever, if you want it message me bro and ill help you out!

  • @cdemusix play your stereo :) when i'm tired of music in some games i cut it and i use ma music from another source... i know it's an homemade remedy ..but it works

  • @cdemusix Don't worry, the music is some stupid guitar rock which really doesn't fit this game. It's either full volume or silent, I don't know why. The only drawback to this marvellous classic is actually the soundtrack.

  • @CaptnButtonSmash

WRONG! The music IS PERFECT for this pinball simulation. I cannot believe you have said that it does not fit this simulation?

  • worst of the 4 because it's so unfair, the right drain should have a kickback cause every 3rd ball or so is lost there without a chance to save it

  • I have got all the Pro Pinball simulations: The Web, Timeshock, Fantastic Journey, and Big Race USA. All of them are fantastic pinball simulations, the best pc pinball simulations that are out there. All of my simulations have the full music that acommpanies them. I can even get The Web to work, and I have Windows Vista.

  • I've bought 3 or 4 copies of Timeshock over the years and only on the first 2 (dating from the 90s) did the musical accompanyment work. Which is a shame, as of all the 4 Pro Pinball games Timeshock has by far the most spectacular (& varied) soundtrack. The composer/performer was the guitarist from 'Stiff Little Fingers', a good UK band. He also wrote & performed the music for 'The Web', but that pales next to Timeshock. Fortunately I recently rediscovered a 'backup' CD, which works perfectly.

  • Words cannot describe how much I love the Pro Pinball Timeshock! music. It is awesome! Unfortunately I lost my CD about 8 years ago. Any idea where I can buy the game and/or music score nowadays?

  • @nick987789 i still have the original discs and all of the soundtracks in MP3 format. I'll start uploading them now.

  • someone help me, which pro pinball game had the goth lady with lightning coming out of her fingers to an orb?

  • The Web

  • greatest pc pinball of all times-soundtrack fucking rocks, gameplay rocks, this is a hell of a pinball simulation! wish someone would create an real flipper based on timeshock

  • pro pi ball big race usa is the best of the best!

  • where is the kick-ass soundtrack??

  • @kyotoair check my chanell, i will be uploading tracks

  • @kyotoair check my chanell for soundtrack

  • Visual Pinball tries really hard, but it just can't compare.

With my Vista OS screwing everything up, I'm actually thinking about hunting down the old PS1 version of Timeshock.

  • Greatest Pinball-Game of all times. An Evergreen like nothing else. This game is 12 years old and still feels so fresh and looks so good. GREAT!!!

  • Oh this is 2 pro pinball game.

  • Is anyone here capable of extracting somehow the sound effects of the game? I would really like to get a hold of them.

    Get the super jackpot! =D

  • Ooh, I'd like to extract the soundeffects too! Let me know if you figure it out

  • I am playing it right now. :) On an old Flatscreen, however, it sucks to play. :(

Great Music, btw. Too bad, The Web is not running on XP anymore.

  • the web plays on xp you must set the exe in win98 compatibly mode

  • Hm.. I am a noob in compatibility mode. And too lazy to look in the net. Is that easy to set that mode?

  • Great vid of the greatest computer pinball game ever made. Can you imagine if they made a modern one how great it could be...man oh man.

  • Hi Cholasina, which program did you use to record this video?

I tried using Fraps but when I try to start recording while playing Timeshock, I get an error. :(

  • hmm maybe you Fraps it's too old, Try version 2.9.8

  • Indeed my version was too old! I was using version 2.9.3. Thanks. :) I guess I'll upload one of my Timeshock games soon!

What's your high score by the way?

  • cool! I wish I had this one! LOL!

  • tinyurl com/8aeujv

  • No real pinball table ever had a rulesheet this complex. Love the game, but its difficulty makes me angry sometimes.

  • WoW. U gotta get more precised and learn how to shot the ramps (Metal). Because this is how u get the jackpot, and the fragment which is needed to complete one timearea. You can get the fragment with 3 shots when making a ramp combo, 1* 2* 3*. You can also take single shots. But will take much longer. Each Jackpot lits one continent.

  • When all continents are lit, shot the crystal to lock fragment, after multiball, shoot crystal again to get fragment. You locked one time age. Get the fragments for all time ages, and u get the first big goal in "TimeShock Frenzy". All fragments will be put together and you get a five ball multiball - 120sec. All ramps orbits are lit. And you basiclly have to lock all the fragments in order to complete TimeShock Frenzy. ------

  • When you want to time drive, get the time machine ready (multiple ramp shoots), and than start multiball. For some time ages you gonna need crystals, which you get by completing explorations. The first big Goal "Dawn of time"- trigers TimeShock Frenzy you going to need 3 crystals (there are two in each time area) plus all 4 fragments. For the "Unknow" trigers "Wizard Frenzy" (highest goal) you need 8 Crystal + timeShock Frenzy Completed. Wizard Frenzy is going to be a 6 ball multiball.

  • Do this game has any music in the background? I have a version like this, but some people sad that, the game has a music. Tell me the truth please :).

  • nope =]

  • Yeah man i have the original CD version, and it has music. And nice one, i have to say. The best tracks are the just before the time machine frenzy. And other good track is when you go explore in the future.

  • I will live direct link for crecked version of this game here for few game.

This is The Best Pinball Ever made !!!!

  • does this game work for xp?

  • works here with xp, good luck!

  • Yeah. The Web was great too, though. And perhaps USA Race.

Very nice game. Thanks for showing.

  • The Best Pinball Ever made !!!!

  • Yep.

I won the lottery tomorrow, id commission this one to be made up into a proper pin.

Everything about the table is perfection, all the features, ramps ect...

The detail on the table is amazing, no computer pinball could/will better it, only become it's equal.

Truely in the class of mid nineties bally/williams best offerings.

    Stern should make the pin:)

  • I've got cd of this game from CD Action Magazine and I remember this cool game... :D

  • needs music
