  • I have a suggestion. I noticed that your blades were very tight in the blade grips as you were turning the blades around. It has been my experience to loosen the blade grips so the blades will be able to move or swivel in the grips with a slight amount of resistance. when I learned this trick it helped my helis greatly in the way that they fly.

Have you done this? if not please try it. you dont want them very loose, just enough to move in the blade grip.

  • Very good video lots if useful info specially for beginners like me do you know were I can find a pitch gauge in Dublin

  • Thanks for the setup lesson...If I do purchase the Lama 3 at least I won't have to reinvent the wheel. Also the pitch blade tool use was very informative. Thanks again.

  • Hello rolex.

Thanks again for your personnel answer..

I ve changed servos( they were completely out) against Cp3 esky servos, they fits as well.I tied them too. Blades are setup with 7' incidence. Now my lm3 is flying softly. And i have a lot of fun with her. In fact it s great machine. Thanks again.

    Looking forward for more tips.

  • hey rolexoo71 this is skyhulk from your rcgroup blog. you talk me into it i bought the darn thing from hobbyking bnf version i already have the 2402 transmitter 275.00 ship

  • thanks for you reply, but i am going to buy the walkera lama 400d when i saw you hover this thing in what look like your dining room i was sold. thank anyway

  • Thank you ,i was considering this copter. wanted to get back into helicopter but coaxial. i been flying the gaui 330x. i don't want to do tricks just to fly it. I wish the company like walkera would make a product that was sound. i mean with the exception to the blade adjustment. pilot should not have replace skids because the company provide skids that were too small or tie down servos because hardware dose not stay tight. These heli cost a lot of money . this is very frustrating

  • @RBXXXX Many Thanks. The LM3 is just outstanding once you understand what you need to do to set it up right for flight, indeed it was a long time before i could get my head round this and just as i was going to put my fully rebuilded LM3 in the bin i saw the LIGHT !! Now its a excellent flight once it set up before the flight as in the video. If you where to ask me should you buy one ? the answer is YES !

  • Hi Rolex, nice video of a beautyfull heli ! You know I had a 400d before and I purchased a Honey Bee King 3... I did 13 flights with the HBK3, and didn't crashed it =) !

But I just tried to hover it, and I can't !!! These CP Helis are very sensitive and it's hard to maintain them hovering with coaxial skills xD, but I hope I could enjoy a real flight very quickly because I think I'm on the right way, maybe tomorrow or later :D !!!

thanks for your videos, a pleasure to watch them !

  • Thank you so much for showing me how a pitch gauge is used... seriously, I had no idea, and I have a Thunder Tiger Innovator EXP! Only have gotten one good pack out of her before the crash that has had her out for just over 2 months now due to low cash and having to drive around 15 miles to get to my local hobby shop for repair, as I am not a builder or mechanic. I watch them so I learn how to do the repairs myself. Great to see that you enjoying your "big baby" once again, lol!

  • @stot2614 Hay thanks for the support, Yep its only when you can see what needs to be done then and only then can you see how good this heli flys, its be sold as a beginner helicopter, but its not for beginners at all. She is now flying like the walkera 400d.

  • @stot2614 Thanks for the input and its good to see heli fans enjoying the video's, just a few days ago i had two outstanding flights and it was excellent to see this heli flying like a walkera 400d. Many LM3 guys have giving up on there LM3's, but this is because they are not setting what is a CP HELI up right and are finding that the heli is all over the place. I don't thank it is as hard as a CP 3D heli in the setting up of it, its just that its not just another RUN OF THE MILL COAXIAL !!!

  • @rolex0071 So true! I can't imagine what your dilemma is in getting her flying again, but if it's just the blade balancing, I guess somebody just pushed the red "That's Was Easy" Staples button; you being one of the few (if anyone else) on here noticing this problem with the world's first CP co-axial rc helicopter. Thing is the more parts, the more confusing and complicated the repair gets. I look forward to more of your videos... yours or any other cool vids you find on here.
