Extremely funny carlin clip that i was unaware of till now...its fun to know just when you thought youve seen everything a certain individual has done you get something great like this...
Yeah, I've looked, but it's a very limited selection of shows. The guy who recorded them taped them every week, and it was from over-the-air signal (not cable) He didn't keep them all, to save tape he taped over some episodes and just kept his favorites. The Carlin hosted show wasn't one he kept. I was thinking of getting the discs, but I keep hoping for an actual DVD release, and the quality of his is really bad, unfortunately.
Yes, and so many amazing people were on that show Larry David, Andy Kaufman, Mark Blankfield, Jack Burns, Michael Richards, and the list goes on and on...
I remember it when I was a kid. Oddly, not available on DVD, and hard to find via traders because it never went into syndication. Can your buddy get us the episode that George Carlin hosted in 1981 with George Thorogood and the Destroyers?
Well let's ask him - Hey Buddy (aka Tom Kramer) if you're reading this, can you get us the episode that George Carlin hosted in 1981 with George Thorogood and the Destroyers? --Laurent510

I don't have copies of the shows but
I heard that the son of one of the writers found some bootleg DVD's off the internet.

Thanks for checking it out.
Tom Kramer, a very good friend of mine, wrote and directed this film among many, many others for a show in the 80's called FRIDAYS. --Laurent510

Tom,
BIG THANKS to you for this :) It's quite a rare clip, and a funny proposition that Carlin had folks like that writing his stuff!
