I don't have copies of the shows but

I heard that the son of one of the writers found some bootleg DVD's off the internet.

Yeah, I've looked, but it's a very limited selection of shows. The guy who recorded them taped them every week, and it was from over-the-air signal (not cable) He didn't keep them all, to save tape he taped over some episodes and just kept his favorites. The Carlin hosted show wasn't one he kept. I was thinking of getting the discs, but I keep hoping for an actual DVD release, and the quality of his is really bad, unfortunately.

I remember it when I was a kid. Oddly, not available on DVD, and hard to find via traders because it never went into syndication. Can your buddy get us the episode that George Carlin hosted in 1981 with George Thorogood and the Destroyers?
