hey man,can you send me in a private message the product list ,on ebay i dont want to buy the wrong stuff.you did an awesome job man! plus one like!(like the neon bars and such )
Did you put all those kick ass mods (lights, fans, temp sensor etc.) with just ONE molex connector?! Or did you have to soider another point in the xbox to get power? If you did just one molex then wow...I never knew one molex connector can do ALL that! Haha
Did you use any convertors or spliter cables?(like molex to 3 pin fan or molex to 2 molex connectors etc.)
@AleRondro796 Yes, everything is powered by one molex connector. Your only using 5v or 12v. So it's not that big of a strain on the power supply.
As for other connectors, I used one 3 pin. It's connected to the top of the case. That way, when I take it apart, I can easily disconnect and remove the top of the case. The rest are soldered together and they're connected to the one molex. Standard size molex connectors take up a lot of space believe it or not :)
@VincentFunk thanks for the reply man, i already added a 120mm Green LED Antec Tri-Cool fan on top of my 360 =D and it also comes with a fan adjuster of Low, Medium, and HIgh. Not to mention it pushes a lot of air (i think 79 cfm on high) and its not even loud
you inspired me to mod my xbox 360 even further though haha
Holy Cow! Definitely one of the better mods I've seen in a while.
Assuming that temp reading is accurate, that's really good for that graphics chip, though I don't how hot those chips usually get anyway. My XBox is still bone stock without problems.
Are you still able to go online with that thing? xD
@soma1509 Yeah, I'm proud of my handy work. As for temps, I wish I knew what it was before the mod. Yes it goes online with burnt games. You have to run the iso through a stealth checker to make sure it won't be detected by Microsoft. And don't play games before the release date. It's a dead give away and you'll get banned right away.
@GunRunner88X It probably draws more power than it should. I'm sure microsoft designed the power brick to only a certain amount of power for the Xbox. But I don't really know. It works. And if anything, I might have to replace my power brick one day. I'm not really worried haha.
